You Have Killed Me
Billy Budd
"Thank you for living dangerously, taking risks, being here and being you."
The Youngest Was the Most Loved
The Good Looking Man About Town
"Thank you for applauding for a song that you don't know and that you don't like."
All You Need Is Me
He then introduced the band starting with Mikey. After he said Solomon's name he asked that "somebody scream."
Sister I'm a Poet - changed sister to brother.
Death of a Disco Dancer
"I'm quite certain that yesterday was Columbus Day and I'm baffled by the fact that is said that he discovered America when there was already people here."
I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris
"You'll make yourself plain." (repeating the last lyric)
Stretch Out and Wait - changed to the Manchester blood in my veins. When he got to "is there any point ever having children?" he then put the microphone into the crowd.
The Loop
He mentioned something about Tiger Army in reference to the standup bass.
Why Don't You Find Out For Yourself?
Tomorrow - took a note from a fan, pretty sure the only one of the night.
"The whole point of life, if I may say so, is to make sense of this mess that is life." Nobody cheered. "Save me Julia" as he hands the mic to her. "I completely agree with you."
Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before
Irish Blood, English Heart - Americans are sick to death of republicans. He did not say "and democrats" like he has in the past.
One Day Goodbye Will Be Farewell
Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want
Let Me Kiss You - threw a yellow shirt pretty far back.
Life Is a Pigsty
Auld Lang Syne
How Soon Is Now? - attempted stage invader that was grabbed by Eddie the security guard. Threw out a black shirt.
Encore - First of the Gang to Die. Came out in the Je Suis Morrissey shirt, which he also threw out. Teased the crowd by saying You're the One For Me Fatty.
Good show. The lads wore baby blue t-shirts and white dress pants.

A few personal notes:
Great to see my homeboy John. He's that tall dude people thought was Craig Kilborn. Good friend of mine.
On that note, seen some "celebrities" - 'Christopher Reeve', 'George Lopez', and thought I saw Scott Weiland on the drums but turned out to be Baby Jeff White. Which brings me to "The Bjork Identity". Nice opener. Thinking about buying that album, but like with the Red Lightning CD, i'd like to hear it before shelling out the clams.
There were also alot of "BO's". "B.O." Jackson, "B.O." Diddley, "B.O." Bice, and even "B.O." Bridges. Get the picture?! People please put on some deodorant. Like most dudes, I have a horrible sense of smell so you know that whatever was in that room was true FUNK.
AAAAHHHHHHHIIIIII'mmmmm thinking the clones don't bathe! Either that, or I didn't wipe my "Goat" after the onion rings. We are in the year 2007 Morrissey fan! It's not like the 1500's when people couldn't bathe every day. Water conservation does not mean you skip the daily "scrub". And no, spraying AXE after a few days in the basement playing video games doesn't count! If I want to feel like i'm on a field trip to the FunYun factory, i'll go see Metallica.
Moz threw out two dress shirts, and that 'T' they sell with "Je Suis Morrissey" on it. Nice crowd interaction, and a plethora of crowd surfers. Hope it rolls into Thursday!

Morrissey you looked FABULOUS BITCH (Score:1)
~ After the "movie" bit, he used the intro he was using in the previous tours with the woman talking about damnation and stuff of the world. This was my third Palladium gig and was the first I heard of him playing this.
~ CROWD sucked prety much throughout the entire gig. I was in the cut of it all, and most of the fuckers around me, were too busy, taking pictures, sending txt messages ( i dont get this), and were just zombied out, in a trance/lifeless. I couldnt fuckin believe it, the previous nights crowd was AMPD-UP from the opening song, all the way through. The crowd tonight snapped out of it, when Moz went half naked and tossed out his beautiful "man about town" shirt, dead center into the crowd maybe about 7/8 songs in to the gig. And as most you know, started up the tug of war from HELL!!! IT was the parting of the oceans, and fuckers that didnt wanna get hurt pressed up towards the front. THe house was ALMOST full, but, not quite but, it was JAMMED PACKED!!!
~arond the time of the final 3 songs, the place went into OVER DRIVE and TOTAL KAOS, and in all that mayhem, I managed to check Morrissey out and, the cheeky monkey, had a smirk on his face as he witnessed about ( from what I could tell) 6 crowd surfers making their way towards him for the "must have's of the night" "The Hand Shake from the Man Himself" (My one and only handshake was at UCLA Paulley Pavilion gig in '91) anywho back to the story, the lame ass security guards, that were FUCKIN PRICKS!!!!!, were soo totally out numbered, I saw they called for REinforcements as them last two songs were a very highly possible "Live In Dallas/Everyday is Like Sunday" scenario. Oh by that time, Moz had tossed out ANOTHER SHIRT, black/maybe charcoal shrit, very nice one, I cant tell you how many fuckers I helped catapult over the barrier, the privilege and the pleasure is all mine, and come Saturday, Im gonna do it again, the crowd surfing didnt stop til the show ended. By the last two songs, I was already FRONT ROW CENTER, dunno how that all took place.
~He was somewhat chatty, not as chatty as the previous night.
~talked to Julia, something about our earthly/life mission, dunno I was stoned and lovin it!
~He asked some Hector "where is he tonight" Hector "hes working in London" I shouted "God Save the Queen" (its the 30yr annv of the song) SO I notice Moz reading my shirt (sex pistols), and gave a little smile.
~Some dude, had a book he wanted to give Moz the ENTIRE night and he never took it from him. Also this chick had a some what good size mini poster and again he didnt take it. WTF, someone brings me free shit, Im gonna fuckin take it. He did take some, what I guess were, letters from some front rowers off to the sides.
~During Stretch Out and Wait, he changed the lyric to "its the MANCHESTER blood in my veins"
~I shouted out to him, "MOrrissey you Look FABULOUS!!!" I could tell he heard cos he kinda got shy and asked the crowd, what did you say? So I shouted it back to him, but this time some of the people around me said it aswell, and Moz just laughed and said something like "thats what I thought you said". AWESOME!

Very long suspenseful wait after the videos ended so the Imperfect List was played. There was still a little bit of a wait before Morrissey showed. He must be visiting the Frink Thread because he started the show off in head-to-toe brown. Didn't throw the brown shirt into the crowd but went to change in back instead (he's keeping it on hand for those Frinkers I suspect). Then he changed into his bright yellow shirt which got tossed into the crowd. Black dress shirt and Je Suis Morrissey shirt to end.
He took a letter from someone early on in the show and then during Life Is a Pigsty took the letter I was waving around for him like a fool. Early on I think I saw him pick up some yellow flowers off the stage and he stuck them in the middle of the drum kit. As previously stated, he didn't take the book or drawing (?) from some people who were front and center. I felt bad for them...I know he could see them. There's no way you could miss em!
After the show, was greeted by sidewalk sausage vendors who were right next to the Peta flyer people. Weird. OK see ya all on Saturday!

Tuesdays with Morrissey (Score:1)
GLMAT sounded great, but the reception, other than from saddo obscurist collectors such as myself, was hushed. Moz thanked us for applauding a song we didn't know. Unfortunately, I missed out on the rest of the banter because my friend (a Moz concert virgin until last night) asked me if I knew the song. Hah, did I know this song?! I missed a lot of what Moz said on Tuesday because of my friend asking me questions. Oh well. I don't regret having my friend join me for a wonderful experience.
One of my asides to my friend during KY's "Everybody Wants Me to Cry" was that it was the most tolerable song by her IMO. Last week, at the first Palladium show, I even enjoyed it. (Just because her music is not my cup of tea doesn't mean I am rude to her. I think she is very talented, especially at costume design. Baby Jeff White is incredible as well.) And then Morrissey quoted her early on in his set and said, "Everybody wants me to cry!"
They soundchecked Jack the Ripper, Youngest Was Most Loved, London, Good Looking M, and some others but I can't remember them all. The most interesting was Jack the Rrrrr because at first, it was someone other than Moz singing. Then Mozzer's voice would come on booming gloriously. Then it would drop out while the other guy kept singing (the lead vocals, not the back up). Guess they were testing the mics. I fantasized it was Alain singing. Didn't sound like Alain, was maybe Boz, but the voice sounded American... Isn't it odd how Boz is the only English guy left of th'Lads? : (
But Alain was reportedly in the VIP balcony this past Monday night. Other notables in attendance were Tom Lennon (Lt. Dangle of Reno 911), some comedien from tv show King of Queens whom I don't know (Beau insists this guy is really funny), and David Caruso (the red-head from CSI Miami). B. says Caruso didn't applaud but laughed at all of Mozza's jokes. So I think Caruso was only there because the production headquarters for the CSI shows are across the street on Gower.
Also a tidbit from Monday I forgot to report was something that made me scream with laughter: During "All You Need Is Me" when Moz sang, "All you can do is COMPLAIN about me" he made typing-on-a-keyboard motions. You know he can't help looking at the train wreck that we are at SoLow.
Now I'm going to get a hair o' tha dog to ease my aching head and body.

IT WAS THE BEST CONCERT EVER. i'm only 17 so this show has changed my little dull teenage life. i got front row for the encore and I went insane. I'm kind of embarrassed about how crazy i got and how bad i wanted moz to touch my hand. maybe that's why he didn't reach for me. He teased me! but its cool.
it was an awesome night, i'm really happy i could share it with everyone there.
