I just got a phonecall from friends who were there, identical set-list (what I mean is no new stuff played), and it wasn't the strongest voice he had... see you in Rotterdam!!!

  • It's likely that his voice isn't going to be his strongest all the time, time from it don't mean it's gonna be perfect.

  • Same set list than Manchester Birthday gig, but shorter. They didn't played Payroll, Let Me Kiss You & Crashing Bores. But they played Seasick.
    I think a total of 19 tracks.
Not the best show i've seen ... not the worse.

As usual these days, Moz wasn't very talkative. His voice was OK i think. Boz was in fine form !

no changes in the setlist but Moz and the band were in great form. Moz wanted to show that he's okay and his voice sounded great, especially in the second half. One fan made of onto the stage, venue was very small which was perfect. Moz changed his shirt two times and threw one in the crowd.

  • Some Girls is my favorite smiths song - I am so glad he brought that song back
Many people think the lyrics are gibberish - I think it is great social commentary - with everything that goes on life there really is only one thing people care about - some girls are bigger than other

  • I thought he might have sang this one,but maybe I'm asking too much,as I hoped he'd play "It's not your Birthday Anymore" at Manchester 23/5/09! Guess he likes to stick to the setlist.

I remember an Elvis Costello tour some yrs ago, when he span a wheel and sang the song the arrow pointed on.Imagine Moz doing that.It would be superb, and certainly a big wheel!!

  • I have to say that although he did get through all of the set I cannot be convinced his voice will last for the rest of the tour. He did have a couple of moments where he sounded a bit croaky, hope I am wrong...BTW whoever that drunken Scottish girl at the front fighting with everybody was...I sincerely hope you have the hangover from hell, well deserved.
