Marlene Dietrich was from Berlin; tough call between her and Klaus, if the snippet rehearsal happened.
What a living, walking, talking cultural quiz-master (not quite encyclopedia, as he sends us off on errands of meme filtering and retrieval) is the Mozzer! ; )

The setlist was the same as it was the nights before. The running order might have been mixed up a little, I'm not sure. But the tracks were exactly the same!
It was a fantastic show, my only complaint goes to the zombie like audience.

Berlin concert review:quips and atmosphere (Score:4, Insightful)
esp the people in the middle, very receptive as far as i could see from my tight squeezed spot......and giving him more than warm reception.
he also handed the mike to the audience asking"any questions?"
a apparentely swedish girl who did tell him "sweden loves you" which he replied "well thats an easy one,I love Sweden too"
also one guy from australia did ask him when he does come to australia.
he had written a review in the forums under the heading "a moz in oz")
to which morrissey smiled as an answer.
as well as someone from poland asking him that too( he does come to the country so i wonder why he did ask)
another comment to moz from someone out of the audience: "I Have Bruises Bigger than (or as big as ?) Dinner Plates!"
MOZ replied with "Was it worth it?"
Another comment of MOZ more to the beginning
"I realize now I'm german" .
he was quite chatty and did say a few more
he sang a few lines from songs not written by him as an intro: a cabaret song(from the film cabaret) at the start of "the first of the gang to die"
and lines of another song which he sang when he introduced himself (as the last person) which happened during the usual band introductions part,
the song is , as someone has informed me , "falling in love again" famously sung by marlene dietrich. it was quite noisy in my area when he did that.
he has obviously a fondness for the berlin of the 20ties..
the intro tape (the music tape, not the videos was slightly changed , wasnt it?)
one shirt thrown into the crowd during "Let me kiss you"..
of the shirts he wore one was blue, the other dark.
3 shirt changes
voice was clear..
all stage invaders were female this time(I did count three).
one of the stage invaders was english(strong but charming accent), i overheard her conversation on the cell phone telling her friends back home about it in front of the aftershowparty(which was great, too)
big probs to robert-(r normally resident of the monthly berliner morrisseylicious-party dj) on the small floor- did play a lot of gems : reel around the fountain, a swallow on my neck, skin storm, nobody loves us, etc etc...
i couldnt view a lot of people being quiet at the concert (beside the usual people at the back being not as animated as the front of course but thats the usual course of concerts.
