  • This was my 15th Moz gig. I was surprised how good it was. He sang great the band played well and the man seamed very happy to be on stage.

I wasn't planning on going to Ally Pally but this gig has changed my mind.

The set list was the same as previous gigs except 'Ask' Instead of 'Nowhere fast'

p.s, I LOVE THE MORRISSEY SCARF IN WEST HAM COLORS.

"Do you mind if I quote myself" before Crashing Bores - to which Morrisseythe23rd responded "why not, we do"

He also said, "So this is what I do for a living. Unbelievable."

Strange venue, felt like I was back at school and this band were doing a gig in the hall... but brilliant none the less. I wonder if he went for a swim afterwards.

Oh, and the reserved seating was a waste of time... second from the barrier... love it!

  • I have seen Moz so many times but last night i couldnt have been any closer, my tickets purchased were in the lap of the gods but that didnt seem to matter last night great view and lots of handshakes.

Right at the end he gave me the micro-phone and i just froze and then said some girls are bigger than others! what must he thought everybody was coming out with crap but it was funny.

My last gig at the Ally Pally i hope its as good as this one.

  • Thank you Morrissey for another heavenly evening . . . your bow in triplicate (stage left) to Paris, however high up, my curtsey low to you, as a young man kissed the ring on the hand of the King.

A small group was left waiting for you at 'stage door', the rest had gone home.

And there you were, out of the door you stood; the crowd stopped its mirthful antics and were in awe, as the security guards noticed our reaction to you they turned and they too, stopped and stared at the marbled sculpture of the perfection of man, beautifully lit in the moonlight . . . you looked fabulous mon beau amor, then . . . then the cool dark air touched upon such polished warm skin and you wrapped you beautiful jacket around you, into the car, I saw your smile staring out from the back seat . . . was still 'in awe' expression . . . :)

Missives to Alexandra and Echo . . . mon beau amor.

  • I finally shook the man's hand after 25 years (First gig was Ipswich 1985). I've gone to so many gigs that I had almost given up hope of ever fulfilling this dream. Finally in my home county of Essex I came up trumps !! Venue was rubbish and reminded me of Omagh in NI. However, atmosphere was impressive. Viva Morrissey!! Am I in the minority who feel the set list is a good overview? Would love to see Daddy's Voice added .... but he can't please everyone !!

  • Is getting so boring.
The only way I will see him on this tour is if he played in my town and I get free tickets.
I have seen him since 92 and there is no magic anymore.

  • What an incredible show! Morrissey played in my home town at the leisure centre i learned to swim at! Dream come true.

Btw, does anyone know who the 60s female artist with dark hair and a fluffy coat performing in a video which was projected on stage before the show began?

    Thanks!

  • Nope, he played it! A fine performance overall, one of the best I've seen. The setlist hasn't changed but Moz was on fine form. He put on an Essex accent and passed the mike around the front row at the end, asking for comments. The first guy said "some girls are bigger than others" and he just shrugged and pulled a face. Someone else said that they haven't forgiven Jesus and something else that I didn't understand. Moz replied "are you Spanish?".
