I was at the Seattle Seahawks football game on November 23rd and much to my surprise and disbelief, I witnessed the “Sea Gals” (the Seahawks’ cheerleaders) doing a dance routine to "How Soon is Now?"

I am sure I was one of only a few of the 20,000+ fans at the game that recognized the song and the irony of the “Gals” doing their dance wearing next-to-nothing to this particular song (they normally dance to Top 40 type songs).

  • That alone would be enough to get me to go to a rainy Seahawks game on my next Seattle visit this X-Mas - but I've been a rabid Hawks fan since their inception in '76 anyway so that is just frosting on the cake ;^)

    Ahhhhh those Sea Gals... yummm....
I'm really just Some Totally Random Moz Fan

  • Was it like in the Nirvana video, where they started out doing a normal cheerleader dance and ended up going mental to the music?

  • Do you Yanks have to have sluts like that to pretend that your game of "Foootball" is not full of Homosexuals.

  • Was it the genuine article or a cover? "Charmed" (sub-Buffy TV series about witches) has used some horrible cover as its theme tune for ages, so I imagine that a least some non-Moz fan Americans would find the tune familiar.

  • i wish HSIN? would stop being trivialised by silly americans! It used to be my favourite song but the meaning of it to me has been lost by its numerous uses in silly american teenage chic flicks to express how lonely some stupid slut feels after she's been dumped, even though she'll go out on a date with a 'real cute guy' the next day. How dare they use it in this way, its appalling! And now cheerleaders using it urgh it makes me sick just thinking about it! Songs like that are for us not them.
surely its too slow to dance to anyway?
and to the person who hates limeys, i suggest u stop posting on a site dedicated to a limey!

There are fewer more distressing sights than that of an englishman in a baseball cap!
  • with the exception of some of you english(like moz)you english act like you have a cock up your ass all day long, with your rude fucking comments, its like your on the rag twenty-four hours a day seven days a week.listen your right about hsin bieng played out and used for stupid teen shit, but he needs support wherever he can get it(especially now).youre wrong about our sport,(i like soccer too pal)it will always more physical than soccer and lots of time just as entertaining. so I speak for all american moz fans by saying eat shit pal and why all this talk about bieng gay, are you having questions about youre sexuality, most gay bashers like you turn out to be fudgepackers themselves you know.
