Morrissey Central "THE BOYS IN THE BAND" (July 19, 2021)

very interesting indeed. how will it work with two guitarists that are both considered 'leads' and neither who are really a 'rhythm' guitarist? will be very interesting to see who is playing the leads/solos and who will be relegated to the background....

Morrissey Central "MORRISSEY NEW ALBUM" (May 30, 2021)

I suppose that's more in keeping with Moz's tastes, but the wordplay works better with the PE song. in retrospect, I guess that's pretty far-fetched, though.

Morrissey Central "MORRISSEY NEW ALBUM" (May 30, 2021)

love the title Rebel Without Applause. I have to assume it's a rather clever play on words of this:

SER Twitter & YT: Morrissey Live In Birmingham trailer (May 21, 2021)

the troubling thing is that, although I can see that this is fabricated for humour's sake, I didn't know for sure right away.....

'Panic in the streets of Springfield' - upcoming Simpsons Episode (scheduled for April 18, 2021)

sounds like an interesting episode I haven't watched the simpsons for about 20 years now but I will tune in for this one. Not even just because of the smiths/morrissey connection but moreso because brett mackenzie wrote (the songs anyway). flight of the conchords was brilliant and the songs he...

Gigwise: "11 Underrated Songs: The Smiths A band with a famously flawless discography" (March 12, 2021)

the smiths never wrote a bad song. The only crap song they ever recorded is golden lights and, as we all know, they didn't write that one.

Morrissey Central "GODDESS MILEY IN A SMITHS TEE" (March 12, 2021)

I honestly thought it said "Godless" when I first saw the headline. Was disappointed when I realised it did not.

    Morrissey Central "Elizabeth's birthday" (November 13, 2020)

wow really great cover! i've seen too many mediocre ones (and FAR too many bad ones), but this is really, really nice. Very fine control of her voice and use of vibrato. cudos to Jan Romina, whoever you are. and, bonus points for looking like you're really enjoying yourself.

Tim's Twitter Listening Party - "Strangeways, Here We Come" with Stephen Street (Sep. 28, 2020)

this, exactly, for me as well. first music I ever heard by the Smiths was the opening notes of A Rush and A Push from a cassette my cousin had. It's forever stamped in my mind.

Alain Whyte & Band: "Tell Me" - 'lockdown' version premiered (August 5, 2020)

overall...this is not great. - lyrics are shit. - vocal melodies are terrible. - singing is barely ok - why does Gary look so uncomfortable? It's like he left the hanger in his shirt when he put it on - Gannon's guitar is really nice and suits the song well - whoever edited this video is an...

The Tea Party cover "Everyday Is Like Sunday"

that is his voice/phrasing on all Tea Party songs. he's not really trying to do a morrissey impression although I see why you would say that.
