It is a legitimate sexual orientation. Just like heterosexuality and homosexuality. I'm surprised so many Morrissey fans feel asexuality is something abnormal... like it's a disease or something. "Sad and appalled"?! Please... I can understand why some devout Christians would feel that way...

For all those reasons why homosexual persons would have heterosexual sex. They want to be 'normal', they don't understand/accept their sexual orientation, they care about their parents and they don't want them to be 'sad and appalled' because their child is not like other, normal people...

You may have romantic feelings for someone, and not be sexually attracted to them, that's correct. Also, you may find people you're not attracted to attractive, like you would admire a painting, or a sculpture.

If we're going to get technical, all three (there are homosexuals in heterosexual marriages, so why wouldn't there be asexuals having sex). But I meant the things you wrote that actually matter.
