    pitiful Suede request

I'm attempting to put my collection of Suede b-sides into some sort of coherent order, and seem to be lacking the early b-side 'Dolly'. If any kind soul could help me out I'd be pathetically grateful.. :)

B Sumner (of New Order) and Echo & Bunnyman new album flops!

Peter Hook has slagged Morrissey off loads of times, but I can't remember Barney Sumner doing so. Was it in a interview? Mac slags everyone off. It's what he does. I don't think he should be taken too seriously. Oh, and the new Bunnymen album is indeed crap. They're still great live, though.

    Babes of the BNP

Wow. I recommend a lie down or some gentle yoga. :D

    Babes of the BNP

So - based on your somewhat thought-provoking tag - he didn't gas enough Jews? Or homosexuals? Or trade unionists? I'm intrigued..

    'Our Frank' Video Request

It's not on YouTube, I don't think (except live) but you should be able to watch it here: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&VideoID=1271445 Hope this helps! :)

    'Our Frank' Video Request

Well, thanks! I think it's mainly due to the racism controversy, and the way his interest in skinheads has been used against him over the years. Too many people automatically equate skinheads with racism, and Morrissey probably came to the conclusion that continuing to use skinhead imagery...

    'Our Frank' Video Request

As so often, you direct me to where I should have looked anyway. Thanks! :)

    'Our Frank' Video Request

To cut a long story short, because he envies the rough, uncomplicated physicality of the skinheads in the video. He did a similar thing later in the 1990s, when he postured with knuckledusters and wore Cantona t-shirts. That's my reading, anyway..

You, sir (I assume, in a deeply sexist manner), are a star. I thank ye! :)

    'Our Frank' Video Request

If any kind soul out there could supply me with a link to a downloadable version of the notoriously elusive 'Our Frank' video, I would be very grateful. I'd like to use it to illustrate a talk I'm giving at the Morrissey Symposium at Limerick later this month.

    Waterford's Finest

Number One in the USA on the day I was born. Almost makes up for the fact that in the UK it was Donny Osmond..

    Lloyd Cole... where to begin?

Re: How good were Lloyd and his Commotions? Er.. I'm afraid not. I don't even like football. Over-paid prima donnas, the lot of 'em. ;) More a boxing fan myself. The name's a reference to the origins of the Skinhead cult. It's used by old-school Skinheads to refer to the original spirit...

Lets disect Greatest Hits (2008) and "Suedehead" greatest hits (1997)

I don't actually mind it - I like the Rockabilly sound. I was just taking the mick.. sorry if I sounded arsey! I think the new album's pretty cool - I take it you don't agree? Fair enough, but I'm interested in your viewpoint..

    Lloyd Cole... where to begin?

Re: How good were Lloyd and his Commotions? Tragically, I am not acquainted with the actual albums, but from my limited knowledge I love 'Lost Weekend', 'Jennifer She Said', 'My Bag', and at least one of the 'famous' ones.. There's also at least one of Lloyd's solo singles I like, as well. I...
