Morrissey A-Z: "I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris"

I think “only stone and steel accept my love” is a good line.

Morrissey A-Z: "My Love, I'd Do Anything for You"

I really like it. Sharp lyrics and I think it’s a strong opener.

Morrissey A-Z: "My Hurling Days Are Done"

I think it’s a good albeit overproduced song, but I don’t care for the kiddie chorus on it.

    Morrissey A-Z: "My Dearest Love"

I like it ok. It’s definitely a song that imho improves when sung live, as I find it sounds less cold and more operatic.

Morrissey A-Z: "Munich Air Disaster 1958"

I like it ok enough when I’ve heard it live, but I don’t find it memorable enough to ever add it to my own playlists.

    Morrissey A-Z: "Lover-To-Be"

I love this song! Sounds very Doors inspired to me.

What is Morrissey up to? (speculations)

I’m sure he’s resting up for Vegas. Hopefully working on a follow up to Autobiography as well.

What is Morrissey up to? (speculations)

I know you’re being funny here, but I bet with the right director that could probably be a good series. I’d watch it for sure!

Question Favourite personally recorded live piece?

I’m not one for recording a full song during a gig; I’ll leave that to others. But, as far as after the show, this is my personal favorite Moz moment I’ve filmed. He was leaving Broadway for the last night, and did it in true theatrical style!

Zack Snyder's recollection of making "Tomorrow" promo video

Zack Snyder is interviewed in the new issue of Esquire magazine and is asked about Moz since he of course directed the fantastic “Tomorrow” music video: ESQ: I have to ask you an aside question, since you mentioned hand-held camera work. You directed that old 1994 Morrissey video for...

    Morrissey A-Z: "Lenny's Tune"

It’s very haunting and somber and I do enjoy this cover.

GQ: "A$AP Rocky Is the Prettiest Man Alive" - Morrissey reportedly features on new A$AP Rocky album (May 19, 2021)

Same here in regards to the “producing” part! Very interesting and I’ll be intrigued to hear what they’ve been working on.

    Morrissey A-Z: "The Kid's A Looker"

    Awful, awful song.

Morrissey A-Z: "Julie In The Weeds"

I enjoyed it back then in 2014 and still do. I’ve always been somewhat surprised it never has gotten a live outing.

Percussion Discussion: Chad Smith says "just finished a Morrissey album" - Iggy Pop guests on it (February 20, 2021)

This is a major aside, but Chad Smith’s resemblance to Will Ferrell has been a running gag on Jimmy Fallon’s late night show here. Will and Chad were even guests at the same time once to make fun of that fact and had a “drum-off.” :)

    Morrissey A-Z: "Human Being"

“Human Being” is a fun cover and I enjoy it, especially the sax part.

I am Not a Dog on a Chain one year later

I love “Once I Saw the River Clean.” It’s one of his best songs in ages. And I enjoy “Knockabout World” and “Bobby...” very much. However, the rest of the album is just “meh” to me.

Joe Frady is a thoroughly decent chap!

    Couldn’t agree more wholeheartedly.

    Morrissey A-Z: "Disappointed"

One of my all-time favorite songs. Great music, fun lyrics. Love it so much.

    Morrissey A-Z: "Blue Dreamers Eyes"

I really like it. I concur that it needs a proper release. It’s definitely my favorite of these unreleased songs. And the video is wonderful, especially the behind-the-scenrehearsal footage!
