Morrissey Central "Wikipedia" (June 8, 2021)

Why does a statement from 2020 appear in June 2021 on Central? Sam should check incoming faxes more often.;)

Morrissey Central "MORRISSEY NEW ALBUM" (May 30, 2021)

He lost his Mom so this is his worst year. He doesn't compare his life to anyone else's here. Your interpretation of the album title is just speculation. Without context it can mean anything.

Morrissey A-Z: "Edges Are No Longer Parallel, The"

I love this song so much and play it regularly. "My only mistake is I'm hoping". So many people can relate to this simple line. Hope is great but it can prevent people to move on in their life in desperate situations.

Omega Auctions: More Geoff Travis rarities listed (Auction due November 24-25, 2020)

Why not? The one who's come to let it sign didn't steal anything from the band, in fact he or she must be a massive fan and probably has bought all official releases.

YouTube: Denise Johnson - "Well I Wonder" (October 2, 2020)

That's maybe correct for "The Queen is Dead" but think of later songs like "Half a Person" or "I won't share you".

Classic Pop: Sparks on Morrissey - "it's saddening, very disheartening"

Sparks are decades in the music business. They know exactly that they won't sell a single record more because they criticize another artist so I doubt that this was their intention. They just say what they think about Morrissey's statements because they were asked about it.

Classic Pop: Sparks on Morrissey - "it's saddening, very disheartening"

Do you really believe that one single person on this planet buys their record just because they criticize Morrissey?

Chain Gang Progress - Morrissey Central (14th Nov.)

"fastest rising single in Morrissey's career"? Okay, he's finally given up competing with other artists (charts) and now begins to compete only with himself.

Article in The New European "Morrissey Is Dead" by Nicholas Barrett (more nuanced than the headline)

So "The Queen is Dead" was a pretty tasteless album title because the other Windsors were still alive? And what about the line "London is dead" in "Glamorous Glue"? An entire city with eight Million people dead! What was going on in Morrissey's ugly mind?

Spex review of Low in High School (German)

Spex is a left-wing magazine but isn't a good example for the German media in general or would you say "Junge Freiheit" is left wing?

Spex review of Low in High School (German)

Please don't mix up Spex (a left wing music magazine) with Germany in general. Like many other European countries Germany is becoming increasingly divided between left wing and right wing. The old mainstream parties like CDU and SPD were all losing voters in 2017's election.

Spex review of Low in High School (German)

A negative review of LIHS, largely based on Morrissey's polictical views: Translated by "DeepL": Post-The-Smiths Morrissey's swinging to the rhythm of guitars. At Low In High School, he at least also sees himself swinging to new topics...
