Morrissey Central "Bonfire Unlit" (November 14, 2022)

For as much I was not a massive fan of Low in High School, i miss the fact that era had genuinely good album promotion, professional marketing/advertising and a pretty cohesive feel to the album artwork, stage backdrop etc But these last two albums (with arguably better music) have been a...

Morrissey Central "Presale UK Tickets." (June 20, 2022)

Instagram video declaring tickets on sale on Thursday is posted with a caption saying they are on sale on Friday, before being quickly deleted. :ROFLMAO: This whole thing has been a bit uncoordinated to say the least. :D

Morrissey Central "Morrissey Greets Queen In Manchester" (July 8, 2021)

It is stunning that in 2021 somebody can produce a digital image of two frequently photographed people that is such low resolution. I cannot believe it :ROFLMAO:

Morrissey A-Z: "I Bury the Living"

For me, the worst song on any studio album. Completely ruins what was a decent start to LIHS and the album never recovers. I always skip it when it comes on. I don't think I have listened to the full version since Ally Pally in 2018. Lyrics/message don't land with me at all. Genuine example...

    13 Morrissey studio albums ranking

Hard to pin down and choose between what's 'better' and what i prefer. This will do for now. 1. Vauxhall & I 2. Viva Hate 3. Your Arsenal 4. Years of Refusal 5. You are the Quarry 6. I am not a Dog on a Chain 7. Ringleader of the Tormentors 8. World Peace Is None Of...

Independent.ie review by Barry Egan - IANADOAC

As a fellow Irishman, I would normally go crazy at a review like this but strangely (and credit where it's due) Barry does seem to be a Moz fan. He even tweeted out Fantastic Bird in 2013! :D https://twitter.com/search?q=%40RealBarryEgan%20morrissey&src=typed_query

Hot Press Review - "I Am Not A Dog On A Chain" (5 Stars out of 10)

5/10... despite not a single criticism of the music

Morrissey Central NOW MY HEART IS EMPTY (statement on Kirk Douglas death, Feb. 6, 2020)

Moz's eulogies are often better than what he puts in the albums.

Morrissey BANNED staff at Alexandra Palace gig from wearing leather or fur - Express.co.uk

I remember drinking ale at the bar. It was London Pride or something similar, which I don't think is vegan. Wonder did Moz know?

    London - Alexandra Palace (Mar. 9, 2018) post-show

I’ve not read any reviews tonight but I’ve followed this tour every night. Tonight was my 5th Moz gig and he sounded fantastic and the band were on point. The setlist, however, ruined the show. I’m not a Smiths cry baby. I like the post 2004 albums. Even if LIHS is his worst but why play 3...

Favourite song on Low In High School?

I went for Home is a Question Mark, but a much tougher question would be 'what's your least favourite?'. If I had this album on shuffle in front of my friends, there's quite a few tracks i'd rush to hit skip on before Moz started singing  The section from "I Bury the Living" to...

Morrissey accuses the haters of being jealous of Israel - Israellycool.com

Instead of Morrissey & Siouxsie, how about we get Moz & Priti Patel. "What seems like a state-for-Jews nooow, could be the beginning of love" :sweet:

    Is Morrissey too political?

People only think he is too 'political' because he is more right leaning now and it upsets them. On 88's Viva Hate he called for a living Prime Minister to be murdered. Nobody cared though because it was anti-Tory and the lefties loved it. In 2017, he makes a few comments about Brexit and...

Morrissey on "Berlin Live" ARTE tv stream (Oct. 11, 2017) reminder / reports

I cannot believe for a split second I was naive enough to think he'd pull Hold onto your friends out of the bag

Morrissey on "Later... with Jools Holland" (London, Oct. 3, 2017) - reminder / reports

Yes, that's true but I think in terms of the media reporting, people in the Guardian, NME etc suffer the same fallacy. They will always have a near apocalyptic reaction to anything right of centre. (It's also better for clickbait probably!) (I'm not having a go at you personally btw!)

Morrissey on "Later... with Jools Holland" (London, Oct. 3, 2017) - reminder / reports

I still think if it was someone you liked, it wouldn't be an issue. You'd think it was charming. 'I was very surprised to see Jeremy Corbyn win the general election, oh wait no, he didn't... the voting was rigged'.

Morrissey on "Later... with Jools Holland" (London, Oct. 3, 2017) - reminder / reports

Morrissey doesn't support the same politics as you, therefore he MUST have mental health problems.
