Gone to waste
item no 170236760596 - Moz live at 02 wireless festival cd. what an arsehole, 4 bids as well. When will they ever learn.

Who cares. What will he make, a full 15 quid if that?

What is it about then?

it just annoys me that concerts that are shared so freely and kindly on here end up on ebay, i know it's a radio broadcast but he or she is still selling a recording they have no legal rights to.
maybe i'm the only one that feels that way, hey ho...........

they usually cost 29.99 or more as boots at record shops.

it will be okay.

aren't they normally silver pressed cd's, at least a bit of work has gone into them, but i take your point.

But, he's taking advantage of the people! That's not right!

Y'see I can give an explanation as to why somebody would bid for a bootleg like that on ebay.

Not everyone on this forum has a broadband internet connection (not available in all of Ireland), so personally I get all my boots by old fashioned postal cd-r trade. This is getting increasingly difficult nowadays as file share and downloads replaces old style postal trade & cd-r trade sites.

I'd never sell bootlegs but I would buy one if I needed it badly enough.

If anyone has the Moz O2 gig (or Dublin, Kilmainham - I was at it) and wants to do a postal trade - this is the list of Moz/Smiths boots that I have to trade.

Dont feel bad, I'm sure our resident Morrissey: thief/music/show stealer Grim will be hawking this too in no time, you know, to make himself some ca$h, and Morrissey won't see a dime of it. Grim does that sorta thing, steals shows/music that don't belong to him, and then makes money from it. Worst part? finds it perfectly acceptable, and chalks it up to:"If Morrissey were more willing to make this stuff available, I wouldn't do such a thing", or something to that effect. Yet, claims to be " a huge Morrissey fan"?
