How Does It Feel To Be Loved?
31st December 2019
Nambucca, 596 Holloway Rd, London N7 6LB, 9pm-5am, £10

Named one of London's best indie clubs by Time Out and hailed as "legendary" by NME, How Does It Feel To Be Loved? is a long-running indie pop and soul club night, playing The Smiths to The Supremes, Belle & Sebastian to The Beach Boys, Dexys to Dusty, and more. We've DJ-ed at End Of The Road, ATP and Indietracks festivals, and have been running popular New Year's Eve nights in London since 2005.

In 2016, our NYE party was named the number one NYE party in London by Time Out. They said: "This hugely popular night knows there are few better ways to enter the new year than with a soundtrack of classic sixties soul and the most danceworthy janglepop and shimmering indie tunes." Guest DJ: Sean Price of Fortuna POP!

Our NYE parties always sell out in advance so an advance ticket is advised.

This year's venue

After storming NYE parties at Nambucca in 2017 and 2018, we're very pleased to announce that we'll be returning to Nambucca for NYE 2019! Gorgeously refurbished with a superb soundsystem and a wonderful wooden dancefloor, Nambucca is perfect for New Year's Eve - a lovely open layout which means that everyone will feel part of the party, and the perfect shape, a square-ish rectangle not unlike a slightly bigger version of The Phoenix.

Nambucca is at 596 Holloway Rd, London N7 6LB, which is 8-10 minutes walk from both Archway and Holloway Road tube stations and nearer still to Upper Holloway train station. As usual, the night tube will run all night on New Year's Eve. We open at 9pm and close at 5am.

We play:

The Smiths * The Supremes * Belle & Sebastian * Dusty Springfield * The Magnetic Fields * Love * Orange Juice * The Ronettes * Aztec Camera * Beach Boys * The Temptations * Velvet Underground * Felt * The Shangri-Las * Allo Darlin' * Otis Redding * The Field Mice * Dexys Midnight Runners * Camera Obscura * The Four Tops * The Go-Betweens * Tammi Terrell * Jens Lekman * Jonathan Richman * Le Tigre * Pat Powdrill * The Sea Urchins * Sleater-Kinney * Os Mutantes * Neutral Milk Hotel * The Left Banke * The Associates * Martha Reeves & The Vandellas
