IANADOAC inspiration?

Apologies if this has been written about already, but today I noticed that the lyrics of "Only a Pawn in Their Game" contain the line "Like a dog on a chain." This might be the source of Morrissey's inspiration for the new albums title.

The forth verse:
From the poverty shacks, he looks from the cracks to the tracks
And the hoofbeats pound in his brain
And he's taught how to walk in a pack
Shoot in the back
With his fist in a clinch
To hang and to lynch
To hide 'neath the hood
To kill with no pain
Like a dog on a chain
He ain't got no name
But it ain't him to blame
He's only a pawn in their game

Yeah, he covered this track on California Son:

Good catch. Certainly could be some inspiration there. I'm sure alot of it has to do with the Music industry/rags trying to tell him how he's supposed to think and act. But thankfully Moz has always gone his own way

I really hope that the track 'I am not a dog on a chain' is a scathing attack on the conformists of this world. But not only conformists; the media, the so-called liberals, the left, the right, the swines on the fence, the swines under the fence that criticize Morrissey.
