Legendary Musicians Rock For Obama

In an event that could easily be described as "An Evening with The Grateful Brothers or The Allman Dead," members of both iconic bands will come together to perform a benefit concert for Sen. Barack Obama.
Change Rocks: A Concert to Benefit Obama for America is scheduled to take place October 13 at Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, Penn.
The evening will include performances by Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart, as well as Gregg Allman, Butch Trucks, Jaimoe, Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, Marc Quinones, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti.
Tickets, which are $50 for the general public and $30 for University Park students, go on sale online only September 19 at Ticketmaster.com and BarackObama.com/psu.
VIP tickets, starting at $2500, are available by emailing the Obama campaign at [email protected].
The event will also be a large voter outreach opportunity for the Pennsylvania Obama campaign, which has already built the largest volunteer-based campaign in the state's history. There are now more than 1 million more Democrats in the state than Republicans, an increase of 500,000 since 2004.

I'd go if it was better music.

I thought it said Legendary Beauticians Smock For Osama.

You've been mistaking a lot of thread titles lately Dave . It may be time to see the optometrist . Don't be alarmed it's a normal part of the senior lifestyle ;)

I should put this in the "what did make you smile today" thread. Great to hear. Keep up the good work PA.
