The Night of the Hunter
Ghost in the Shell < my gateway drug to anime
Taxi Driver
Eraserhead
400 Blows

Difficult to stop at 15.

Mine was Howl's Moving Castle which should've made my list.

Re: List your 15 Most Memorable Movies...

Mine would be memorable for being odd, brilliant or laughably bad.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Incredible film in every way.
A Clockwork Orange. Never seen anything like it, didn't enjoy it much but good film.
Jaws. Great monster movie.
An American Werewolf In London. See above.
Braindead, yes it's ridiculous but great fun and unlike anything else.
Pulp Fiction. It's got everything.
Goodfellas, Not into Gangster films but this was and still is brilliant.
The Fisher King, I just love it.
Willy Wonka, the Gene Wilder one, best kids film ever
Toy Story, these kinds of films are everywhere these days but this was mint and stood out.
Finding Nemo, see above
The Jerk, bonkers and very funny
Boxing Helena - wtf? I never watched this again to see if it was as bad as it first seemed.
Dear John. I think this is the worst thing I've ever sat through.
Crash, this is the only film that makes me wonder whether Dear John was the worst thing I ever sat through.

I spent a lot of money to make that joke. ^^^

um ok i dont get it (the spending money bit). american werewolf in london is indeed great and funny as hell (like when the ghosts listed the ways in which he could commit suicide). Y Tu Mama Tambien is a great film that i watch all the time as is adaptation. do you like any of his other works? lucas especially hits home in many ways and i havent seen that in a long long time now. great movie for what it is. always hated the way peoplpe think that rocky is a boxing movie or an action film as its a movie about shame and poverty. i also think people forgets stevens behind the scenes role in it. have you ever seen the silent film 12 monkeys was based on? worth watching if you like that sorta thing and might influence what you think of the latter film. now im off to get busy bee and dream of parker poise in braces.whoops, ima clean up first after that last thought.

I revealed my cinematic influences, it might blow my craycray cover.

If I could be as cool as Parker Posey, my work would be finished. A Parker Posey/Kim Deal hybrid. Be still my heart. :sweet:
