Probably 'There Is A Light' for overall cinematic romantica, but there's lots of great little lines in various songs that stoke my emotional fires, like "When you cycled by..." and "I will see you somewhere safe, looking to the camera, messing around and pulling faces..." and so forth. Simple, yet they say so much.

Morrissey is probably at his best in terms of expressing unrequited love but he is clearly capable of expressing the euphoria of when it is requited I wonder how much of that is real, though...I mean, has he ever known true love with someone? Is it an imagined reality?

I think he'd write a cracking novel.

I totally agree! the first time I heard these lines, it choked me up.
