Sickbed films/ TV

LuvMozzy

it hasn't
I'm having my tonsils out at the weekend and have to have 2 weeks off sick to avoid infection.
I plan to sleep a lot, drink lots of Frijj and maybe watch some films.
Can you suggest anything? Here are some films and TV shows I like. I would be interested in any really good documentaries too, I enjoyed grizzly man the other night.

Films: labyrinth, clueless, true romance, finding nemo, bruno, coraline, twilight, harold and kumar, cloverfield, teeth

(I hate chick flicks/ adam sandler/ teen sexist comedies/ anything horrifically violent but I can deal with some general horror)

TV: trashy stuff like big brother, makeover shows, trashy american (& UK)reality tv (I loved the pick up artist!), all kinds of documentaries, quiz shows (any american ones I dont know about that are good would be fun) good comedy like peep show, harry hill, curb your enthusiasm, or good america drama like medium (I heard true blood is good).

Any suggestions much appreciated. :thumb:

Ta, I'll read the reviews and see what takes my fancy.

Here's a few to name: Ever After, Moulin Rouge, Loves of a Blonde, 24-Hour Party People, and It Happened One Night (a frickin' classic!)

If you want TV shows, there's also Scrubs and The Office (USA):thumb:

Watch what I watch when I'm sick.

Man in The Iron Mask
Catch Me if You Can
Sleepy Hollow
Edward Scissorhands.

Can't beat a bit of Leo and Johnny.

Can you use Netflix in the UK? You can sign up for it (it's about $8 a month), and then you can find new movies to watch based on your preferences. Some you can watch instantly, some are mailed to you.

"Everything is Illuminated"
"Brothers of the Head"

Both are independent films, and absolutely extraordinary, IMO :thumb:

Good luck with your procedure :)

TBH, when I am sick, I just watch Lifetime. And usually all their movies have Delta Burke in them stealing someone's baby.

Thanks, and thanks all.
If I do watch any of these I'll let you know what I think. Just need MLE to download them for me. :thumb:
