Sounds like a fun party

What album was that song on?

Dude. Don't even act like you don't know.

Altho I went with an 8, I LOVE this song..."see, I'm never alone" -whose with me?!

I want it played at my funeral... I mean celebration of life =o)

All that we hope
Is when we go
Our skin
And our blood
And our bones
Don't get in your way
Making you ill
The way they did
When we lived

I'm probably the only person on earth who prefers the Kill Uncle version of this song to the rockin' Live At KROQ version. I just think that the song loses all its appeal in the louder version... and it's appeal is its extremely gentle, reflective tone. I adore the lyrics - they definitely say something to me about my life - and the piano music is lovely as well. But it's still a pretty minor song by Morrissey standards. I give it a generous 7.

No, I really don't know what album "Suckfest" is on. ;)

The orally pleasurable KILL UNCLE :D

See, I'm never alone ;)

The studio version is a tedious shambles, not worthy of more than a 3, I can't bear it.

Live version however, drags it up to about a 7.

I'm not to keen on it. I trully like Kill Uncle but, apart from Asian Rut, this is my least favourite from it. So I gave it a 5.

Love those lyrics, really love them acctually (especially with KROQ alteration) but I still prefer the KU music.

I ALSO prefer the kill uncle version! blah!:p

Actually... no, you are not the only one. The Lads were TERRIBLE on that tour. They ruined everything they touched. Good thing Moz was uncommonly fetching and energetic!

a 9?

well I will, because I can

This is why I like you. See you in hell :)

I've been obsessed with this song lately and it's magic. Just heard it on my way home. Cranked way up. Just listen to the pure heaven in his vocals. And the accompanying piano and base?! *ugh* kill me. uncle.

I love that it follows End of the Family Line (another ALLTIMEFAVE of mine) but, the record should have ended there, on "...Hell" rather than ruin the vibe with Tony the Pony.
