what's with the thugs?

who were those brutal men in the aisles last night? i was in about the tenth row and dashed up to the third as soon as the lights dimmed and opening music began. some very nice women let me scoot inside their row (thank you) but the clowns were hostile and pushing everyone back up the aisle, demanding to see tickets of anyone in the rows. after being threatened repeatedly, i retreated to my real seat because i figured that was better than getting tossed out.

i have never seen stage-invaders manhandled the way that poor woman was last night. and it would be so easy at the beacon with the low wall and all. i had the impression everyone was sort of terrified of being hit by these guys so we all stayed very obediently in our seats and gave morrissey our full attention - which was unusually respectful if you ask me - even through all his stories.

i dashed up to the third again for the encore and was not caught this time. but i was hoping to swoon a little to last night and was just a bit miffed by the encore. good to do a change up i suppose, but i would have liked to hear last night one more time...

all in all, a fantastic show. he was so chatty and energetic, looked great, even the band sounded pretty decent. i hope there is more to come.
