"Manana, will it really come?"

Just some thoughts to add to the rest:

Morrissey comes onto stage to the James Bond type music. Backdrop is lit with the words MOZ ANGELES.

The version of "Swallow" seemed to be souped up (sounded a bit more edgey . . . I liked it).

The semi acoustic and bongo versions of "Now My Heart" and "Boxers" were excellent.

On "Tomorrow" not only did he say that "This song is called 'Manana'", but he started the song with the words "Manana, will it really come?".

I believe he also yelled "Hermanos!" (Brothers and Sisters!)to the crowd after "Ouija".

During one song Moz actually picked up a cup of beer out of the pit, took a sip, and then handed it back. I've never seen him do that before. (Indicative of the whole night?)
Morrissey seemed very frustrated throughout the show with the sound. He constantly complained that "I hope it sounds good to you, because from up here it sounds awful." In several songs he stopped singing as the band continued playing. He would then catch up with the band later in the songs, and during "November" while the crowd was chanting the lyrics Morrissey stopped to complain "Oh my God, I've forgot the words". Even with all of the sound problems, MOZ compensated with his extremely gracious attitude to the crowd.

The crowd was "well behaved" and stood the entire concert (it was a seated event not GA). Before the encore of "Last Night" Moz told the crowd something like "You think that it is us that gives so much to you, but really it is you that gives so much to us." As he exited the stage (with the band still playing) he gave heartfelt thanks about 10 times before running off.

What a treat to see such a showman! Even with the many frustrations of the night, his age and seemingly tired body, I really felt like he gave us a great performance. And again, I felt like the crowd was really appreciative and loud.

There is a lot more that can be said, but I'll let others say it.
Chau!
