Winding down the day. Checking the inbox, I find the coach got a photo of this weekends race. Got a podium finish in a very hard race. We climbed 1300 hundred feet in the first 32 minutes and averaged 24 miles an hour (when this photo was snapped).
Early this morning I did 48 miles on the bike as a recovery ride. Did my work then spent some time with friends and family. After a long and tiring day, it's nice to get a captured moment to look at and reflect on the hard work and results that usually follow.
