        I buy Morrissey's albums

I bought The Smiths Vinyl album, singles

        some Morrissey too

        I've been to some gigs

I come around here about the Oye Esteban tour,
2 years after this website started

as I said he made I legendary pic, his money
for making pics when the SLC was rebuilding and
thieves stole some lead for the roof, that's Ok

But see any newsitem regarding to do with SLC
he's there, I think not for giving all the pics he made, the profit to SLC, no he makes money out of it

Anton Corbijn and Linder made lovely pics,Linder made a book, but moved on, so does Anton Corbijn

My point is that Mr Wright makes profit a little too much when something's done by the SLC

Why doesn't Morrissey invite him to make new pics of him?

When was his latest pic of Morrissey?

It's a wonderfull pic, in the Sleeve of The Queen is Dead from The Smiths 1986 before the SLC, it even is a sorta holy place for Smiths/Morrissey fans.

24 years on Mr Wright still makes profit of it,
not once, twice but about last ten years at least once a year

Give it a rest, and move on, and let it be a
place for fans all over the world to visit it.

Mr Wright has to move on, like Linder and Corbijn, and Nick Kent did.

        • Sorry, but you are talking crap.
I am involved with the Lads Club and usually Stephen Wright is out of pocket from doing this - including his own petrol costs from south of England to get to Salford.
When did Corbijn and Linder last do anything for nothing? Linder produced the extras on the MEN Arena dvd...but will have got paid for it (and rightly so)
This is probably the 4th time he has done this in 10 years..not every year as you insist.
Maybe next time you judge people who are doing something for nothing, ask around for the answer first rather than making incorrect statements.

          • well this is my opinion, and how I see it, as a
vistor on this site, and as a long time die hard follower of the Last Legend.

tell me why is he advertising on this site?

does Linder make fotoo site advertising.
            Anton Corbijn

I'm sorry, but maybe I've been to direct/harsh,
but this is how I see it, concerning the SLC and
Steven Wright, I've nothing against the person,
            but well, I've exoplained it

btw my post get ridiculed also, this site is getting, as the society, to hard.

            Just my opinion, may I?

              • again, my opinion

I don't stab him in the back,

I say he keeps on getting his fame for a pic
                24 years ago.

Why not at the apollo? cemetary in manchester where Morrissey and Linder walked when they were not famous.

                Morrisey's school

                Davyhulme hospital

again, his fame comes at that 1 pic, and he keeps it alive

and I dare to write that, I'm not saying it's wrong or right, it a fact, my opinion.

                I've nothing against him personal

Only when newsitems come about the SLC,Mr Wright is there, my opinion.

a website hosting costs money, and Mr Wright pays

  • I had the honor of visiting Salford Lads Club last April on my honeymoon. I learned that more than being just an iconic photo-op, SLC offers a place to go and opportunities for underprivileged Salford youths. They do this with little (if any) government assistance, and the place is old and in need of extensive repair. We all know that SLC is Mecca for Smiths fans, but they have also helped lots of young men over the years and you should go support them if you can!!!
