It seems the event has been patched up a little since my post. Morrissey has now agreed to do a session "behind closed doors" and without any audience. Peel last night announced that he would now have two exclusive pre-recorded tracks to air from that session in his Wednesday night show but he will not be interviewing him as orignally planed.

It seems that despite the misunderstanding Morrissey will at least be performing one way or another. In the Peel chat room last night producer Louise did state that it is Morrissey's managment who "aren't popular" with the Peel staff at present.

It seems that the whole mix-up is being quitely forgotten about, although we shall see what happens tonight; will he take offense at the colour of the studio door and refuse to walk through it?
