Sleepy lifeguard writes:

Two articles in the current NME. One relates to the near riot following Morrissey's shirt throwing at the first Royal Albert Hall concert on Tuesday 17th. It also quotes his comments on how he must be doing something right not to have been offered a recording contract in England. It also mentions that BBC 6music are set to broadcast a new studio session in the week beginning October 7.

The second article is a spoof on how according to new European leglislation a Smiths reformation would be impossible since under this apparent leglislation all the band members would have to actually be called Smith. It supposedly relates to the fact that Europeans would feel cheated if the band they had paid to see or whose records they bought were not actually what the name suggests, ie the surname of each band member was not Smith. The article claims that Germans whose name was Schmidt could in fact play in the band.
