Supposedly this is all pretty definite.

3/29 single "Irish Blood, English Heart" released in UK shops
ships to radio mid March (US radio)
4/5 or 4/12 add date (US Radio)
5/25 in stores (US street date) Not sure if it's been changed or the info was just given wrong to the Sanctuary rep who gave all this info to me. I know that previously it's been reported that the record comes out a week before.

A source from BMG (distributor of Sanctuary Records) informed me that their system has a tentative release date of the yet-to-be-announced first single off of "You Are the Quarry". March 22 2004 is the scheduled date for the CD single SANXD261.

GQ will be publishing an interview with Morrissey. I'm not sure how long the interview will be, but it should appear in the April issue (on stands end of March). With pictures.

X-clusive: Auf Der Maur Meets Morrissey - Xfm

Excerpt:

Despite the fact that her new album includes guest appearances by Smashing Pumpkins’ James Iha, Hole's Eric Erlandson, Rocket From The Crypt's Atom Willard, and QOTSA mainmen Nick Oliveri and Josh Homme, it seems there’s only one name on her collaboration list.

“The whole thing is a call out for Morrissey.” She explained, “Morrissey for a duet is pretty much all I want to achieve… Morrissey or maybe Danzig. One of those two better do a love ballad with me. Nobody steal my idea though. I’m the only red-headed fair maiden that should be doing duets with those two.

“I’m very excited about the Morrissey album I’m sure it will be great. All of his material I love."
