Tune in VH1 Thursday night Nov. 11 at 10/9c to see what went wrong! Episode details:

"Over the past two seasons, Bands Reunited has tried to reunite many great bands. For the first time, you’ll see the methods we used to track down these musicians and hear about the unbelievable things we sometimes had to do to convince band members to reunite for one last concert. You’ll also see the greatest moments of our top-secret failed episodes and hear all about the bands that went so wrong, we couldn’t even make an episode out of them!

This special Backstage Pass episode takes you behind-the-scenes of our attempts to reunite ABC, The Alarm, Berlin, The Commodores, Dramarama, The English Beat, Extreme, A Flock of Seagulls, Frankie goes to Hollywood, Generation X, Haircut 100, Kajagoogoo, Klymaxx, Information Society, The Motels, New Kids on the Block, Romeo Void, Scandal, Shalamar, The Smiths, Squeeze, and Vixen."

As seen on the message boards, Suggs' name has been added to posters for the Paris Zenith's gig.

Do you think they'll duet a Come Back To Camden/Camden Town Medley?

Amy Matters writes:

On Saturday night in the UK there was an hour and a half programme dedicated to the memory of the late John Peel, on BBC2 22:00 - 23:30.

There were many contributors including Johnny Marr and Geoff Travis, the former spoke eloquently about Mr Peel's legacy and his vital role in helping The Smiths to gain popularity, through John's acclaimed Sessions in 1983 and 1986.

The Johnny Marr 'footage' was a mix of recent tapings (in a bar) and excerpts taken from the BBC2 programme 'Young Guns' in 1997 (available for download on this site I believe).

Thought this may have been of interest to those of you who didn't catch the show.

The complete concert was definitively filmed, but if they are going to show the whole gig or just parts of it, that's a complete mystery to me.

More information should be emerging soon at Channel 13 website.
