Travis fill Mozza's boots - BBC - 6 Music

Excerpt:

John Giddings of festival promoters Solo he's got signed statements to prove the singer had agreed to play, but that either way, he's never welcome at the festival again.

He told 6 Music: "I wouldn't even invite him round for a cup of tea. It's just truly sad that he can let people down like that without a care. Because if I called him up with two weeks to go and said 'I don't want you here' they would probably put me in a court of law, you know?"

Travis replace Morrissey at Isle Of Wight - NME.com

TRAVIS have been revealed as the replacement for MORRISSEY at this year’s ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL.

It was announced at the beginning of this week (May 31) that the former Smiths star would now not be headining the event, which takes place between June 10 and 12.

The Scottish band will now play instead, topping the bill on the Saturday night.

The withdrawal of Morrissey has sparked a row between the star, his record company and the festival promoters.
