Moz will be appearing on UK TV on the Album Chart Show. Check out their site at http://www.thealbumchartshow.com/thisweek/
The link just mentions Moz but I assume they will be showing his performance of 'Youngest...' recorded a couple of months ago.

According to the tv guide, the show is on Channel 4 on Saturday 27th May at
1.05 am. Beware!! This means Sat night/Sunday morning.
Other guests guests are Pink, The Futureheads, and Phoenix.

Morrissey performed 'The Youngest Was The Most Loved' on the Album Chart Show on Channel 4 early this morning.

The presenter also mentioned that ROTT had sold 250,000 copies since the last time Moz was on the programme.

The Pet Shop Boys were guests on the Jonathan Ross BBC 2 radio show and confirmed they would be in attendance for Morrissey's last show at the London Palladium tomorrow night (May 28).

Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe spoke of their utter love for Morrissey and as to how excited they were to be seeing him live again. The last time, Tennant added was in 2002 at the Royal Albert Hall. He said he was absolutely amazed to have seen Morrissey be ushered on stage to the sound of the Notre Damn bells and looking like the hunchbank with no neck.

Ross wondered aloud whether the Smiths songs still held that spark without Marr, as did Tennant - leading him to say that Morrissey was such a performer that it didn't matter.

Ross also added that Morrissey was the last true artist who showed real emotion on stage. He compared him to Johnnie Ray, a singer from the early twenties, who sang with an emotional delivery.

It all seemed jolly and in love of Morrissey. Viva Pet Shop Boys.

The Tory leader David Cameron chose "This Charming Man" as one of his eight "Desert Island Discs" this morning on BBC Radio 4. For some reason, Cameron introduced his choice by explaining he has nothing in common with Morrissey - 'for example, Morrissey is veggie and I (Cameron) love my meat' - before saying that Morrissey performance of this track on TOTP was iconic.

Wonder what Moz would think of sharing a desert island with the leader of the Tories?

Killers and Radiohead inspire Tory leader - Virgin.net News

Conservative leader David Cameron has revealed he would take tracks by The Killers, Radiohead, REM, The Smiths and Pink Floyd with him if he was stranded on a desert island...

This Charming Man, by The Smiths - Morrissey's appearance on Top of the Pops was "an iconic moment for people of my age and generation".

IS JARED LETO GAY AS A GOOSE OR JUST A GOOSE? - AfterElton.com

Yesterday Jared Leto (My So Called Life) caught an AOL reporter off-guard by suddenly announcing he was gay. Clearly surprised, the reporter seemed unsure if Leto was kidding or not. When he revisited the question, Leto compared himself to rock musician Morrissey, another singer known for his vagueness around his sexuality. The blogs are burning up with discussions over whether Leto is serious. There is cause for doubt as seveal years ago Leto joked with a writer from Out Magazine about being gay.

So is Leto gay or not? Who knows? If he is, I hope he stops playing games and comes out already. And if he's not gay, but is only trying to drum up for attention for his band's new album, I hope the first single tanks like George Bush's approval ratings.

Update:
I spent the morning tracking down Jared's publicist trying to find out whether he was actually coming out or not. Robin Baum, Jared's publicist response is: "Jared was kidding."

Cute actor Jared Leto, when doing an AOL AIM (instant messenger) interview about his band 30 Seconds to Mars (or something) and his new movie about John Lennon's killer, he (supposedly) 'came out' in a very bizarre manner; one that this reporter takes as more or less a little joke...but is starting to cause glee in the gay community (and why not?).

But here is how he's, ah-hem, positioning himself:
here is the Morrissey part...

Nightmare Of You concert review - Phoenix New Times

The Smiths inspire the formation of a new band about once every 3.7 seconds, which means in the time it takes you to read this sentence, two guys with hard-ons for Morrissey have decided to pick up a mic and mope about how bad their middle-class childhoods were...

Nightmare Of You CD review - The Albuquerque Tribune

This is the new New Wave, reminiscent of Panic! At The Disco with as many reference points, including a fake Brit accent that collides with a jangly, poppy vibe. The songs' lyrical complexity, laced with sardonic wit, is a saving grace ("I Want To Be Buried in Your Backyard" expounds on the irony of stardom).

Highlights "Dear Scene, I Wish I Were Deaf," is modern indie guitar rock that's a condemnation of the too-cool-for-their-own-good hipster nation, while "The Days Go By Oh So Slow" sounds like Morrissey fronting New Order; there's enough mope to choke the Moz...

Mark, who used to edit the official Smiths fanzine, ordered the devilled kidneys. But I won’t tell Morrissey if you don’t. Meat is murder? That’s sooooo Eighties.
