Not sure which interview it
is. From Steve Murphy:
Zone
105 FM in Minneapolis has been playing a brief sound
bite of Morrissey explaining the Smiths break up. In it,
Morrissey says that Johnny Marr really wanted the break up
and that he forced the others to choose between him and
Morrissey. At the time, Morrissey said that people felt that
Johnny Marr was the stronger choice to go with than
"dear, old Moz" as he described himself. I checked
the Zone 105 web page but they don't appear to have a link
to this interview. I also don't think that this was a new
interview that they did, but instead a taped thing that is
distributed to other radio stations. Nonetheless, it was
still good to hear Morrissey on the radio.

Comments / Notes
has anyone else who heard this noticed that morrissey's voice doesn't sound...well, normal? I heard it for the first time last night at work (I don't listen to the radio very often) and I had trouble believing the man talking was actially morrissey because it sounded so high, like they sped it up a little or something...well, I don't know...
