It is very interesting to see how all you people are eager to mock and make fun of him. How many of you who find it so easy to "type" these things would even dare say this to his face. Did you honestly expect him to look the same way he did when you last saw him - which more likely than not was in a Smiths picture or maybe the NME about 6 years ago. I think most of you are pathetic. You should be grateful for the wonderful songs he wrote - I don't like him for how he looks or dresses - who cares - I like him for the music. If you think he looks a little old or has put on some weight and that bothers you then why do you still follow Morrissey. If you want to be considered "hip" get into Limp Bizkit,Rage against The Machine or some other crap like that (I wonder if people will still be talking about those bands in 16 years time!!)otherwise, accept the fact that you love a band and a man who has given you so much and can not help the fact that they (Morissey & Marr) were born a bit before you - obviously making them older.

I agree 100% with Britt22. Johnny Marr was never known for his stunning looks or for being on the cutting edge of fashion, but rather for his incredible guitar playing. Isn't it obvious to you that even Morrissey doesnt look like the Morrissey of the 80s or even the early 90s? Those two men have aged and all of you reading this will as well although it seems mentally a few of you have stopped growing already. Also what is the deal talking crap about the girls in the pictures? At least they have enough self confidence to go up to Johnny, hang out with him, then turn around and share it with this sorry lot.

Hi FLESH RAMPAGE - the sexist,I have breasts. Polish Chap (a few posts up), This wasn't the Cafe Bleu in Paris. This one is a britpop club in West Hollywood, CA in America. And before you begin blaming a reunited Smiths looking like Spinal Tap on Johnny, I must ask if you've seen Moz in the last 2 years. He's looking quite gruff as well albeit a little less generous in the midsection. Come on! They're both aging. There's nothing wrong with that. Let's just focus on their talents and not their haircuts. I'd expect more from loyal fans of theirs. Some of you sound like kids.

Hey! Hey! Hey! I'm as old as both Morrissey and Marr. I haven't checked the pic's out yet BUT I know what it's like to be 160-175 pounds your whole life (from age 14 to 37 atleast) and then just gain 35 pounds suddenly (within 6 months) without changing your diet or anything. It's a bad nightmare. You stop eating. You still gain weight. You drink only water and eat only brown and green veggie's. You still gain weight. Finally, you work yourself up to a mile swim every two days. You don't gain any weight. You don't lose any either. 92.5% of you aren't 30 yet, according to the sites demographics. MY MESSAGE IS "MOST OF YOU WILL GRAB A TIRE". I hope you won't. It's the luck of the draw. It doesn't matter whether you've exercised regularly or not. YOUR GETTING OLDER. Let's not waste any more time with this weight issue. Morrissey and Marr are past middle-age. Over the hump. On the way down. SO WHAT. Everyone with their birthdays is too. THE MORAL IS, (as my grandpa said a week before he died): "Wadda' ya' gonna' do? You get old and you die." So live. Don't criticise such inconsequential things. They're not poser musicians. They just like to pose.
