From John:
Former pools winner and friend of Morrissey, Viv Nicholson, is on the UK TV show "After They Were Famous" on ITV 10 pm Aug 25th, self-explanatory about formerly famous people and what they're doing now, should feature some Moz references, also features 80s one hit wonder trannie Marilyn!

I was expecting this show to be a serious documentary about her life, but instead we got the usual cheap and nasty ITV production. However, it still was quite interesting, and thay played "Heaven Knows I'm miserable now" and "Shakespears Sister" ( no Morrissey voice though ). Also the single cover with Viv was shown ( which was reported as an album cover?). Tremedous woman, but I'm glad Morrissey didn't marry her as he threatened ( she looked about 70 ).
( Also Sandy Shaw got a brief mention as a has been )

Just this minute seen it - they played the intros/outros to 'Heaven Knows' and 'Shakespeare's Sister' in the background, as well as mistaking the cover of 'Heaven Knows' for 'an album cover'... didn't show the 'Barbarism' sleeve, or the clip of her in the car with Morrissey... still ever so cute though :)

It may be cheap and nasty but there is nothing more satisfying than seeing a really crap celeb down on their luck.

As for Chris Quinten claiming that he never went to Hollywood to become a film star - bollocks or what? Anyway who can forget his memorable performance in Robocop - he played 'third reporter' I think
