Does anyone know who will open for him in chicago? I'd be most grateful on any info. Thanks

I chose not to be bound by a certain location. I want to be free. - Mon, Jan 03, 2000 at 22:24:04 (PST) | #7

$49 is a spicy meatball but since I don't have to lug my arse out to the West Coast to see him, I won't complain.

I can't wait to see Moz again!! After the bad time he had here the last time, I'm shocked and amazed to discover that he's on his way back!

Wisconsin? Oh yeah, that's gonna sell out! Maybe Moz will boycott because it's the dairy state and milking cows is somehow animal abuse!

CHEESE IS MURDER!!!!

As far as Chicago is concerned.....Moz, get in and get the hell out fast! Talk about murder? Well, there's tons of it there! Hope they have a metal detector at the entrance to the show!

C'mon....give me some more!

Hey dip@#!!!, Madison is a huge college town. They have won the Rose Bowl the past 2 years... perhaps youve heard of it?

He is playing Madison, and not Tampa Bay... what does that make you?

Hey Raincoat...,
Morrissey will come to NYC, as soon as you clean that tomato sauce off your shirt.
And as far as Tampa is concerned, the only difference between Tampa and Chicago is, well...
Tampa is not good.

Does anyone know if the Chicago Theatre is General Admisson or is there assigned seating? I hope it is G.A those shows are the best!

Your name is BUCKY? That's exactly what I mean about Wisconsin! And the Rose Bowl SUCKS! A high school team could beat a PAC 10 team! And Berry Alverez is over-rated, too! We'll see what happens when Dane's gone!

I bet Moz won't spend 5 days hanging around Madison the way he did in Tampa a year or so ago!

Hey, let me know if the temperature get's above 1 degree today in Wisconsin. Nice climate you live in!

Tampa Bay - Wed, Jan 05, 2000 at 06:23:19 (PST) | #16

I don't think he'll be spending 5 days in Madison either seeing as how he is playing in Chicago the following day. By the way, watch out for those bullets flying from disgruntled workers in Tampa.

My boyfriend just loves Morrissey, and so do I. I hope I get good seats. Why isn't ticketmaster selling tickets for the WI show?

- Fri, Jan 07, 2000 at 12:35:17 (PST) | #20

maggie, shows at the barrymore theater are always handled locally and tickets made available at a number of locations throughout madison. unfortunately that means if you're outside the area you gotta make the long-distance call to the barrymore charge-by-phone number(above). so thats why ticketbastard isn't selling them. but thats a good thing because you can avoid their outrageous service charges, right? if you're going to the madison show, don't worry about seats, it general admission...best wishes

Homegrown from Madison Wisc. So excited he'll be playing there. Just had to say that the Wisconsin Bagdgers are a BIG 10 Team not Pac 10, you Florida ding-a-ling. And the 1st Big 10 team to ever win two consecutive Rose Bowls, so beat that one big guy.
Anyway, about Moz - psyched he's coming back to Minneapolis, he cancelled last year's show due to a sore throat, so I missed out. Not this time!

i got my ticket for the madison show yesterday... no i'm not gloating. i'm just grateful that for the next month i'll have something i can look forward to and after that i'll have something i can look back on without bitterness or regret. and maybe for a little while in between i can stop referring to breathing as this dismal habit i picked up as a child. that had anyone told me the detrement it would cause should i continue, i would have stopped right then and there.
