it seems xoom has taken down the mp3s

i got the following:

billy budd
november
alma matters
tomorrow
is it really so strange
hairdresser on fire
speedway
meat is murder

during hairdresser.. he spoke to me.
he didn't like my picture of him and a quote
from the song. he facetiously said "very funny"

it wasn't offensive at all. im not sure why
he reacted that way.

Damn! I couldn't do them this morning so all I got was Billy Budd. Why must this always happen? Why must I always be denied Mozzer live in concert? Why? Why? Why?

I have able to download 2 this morning before xoom took the MP3's of the net. However, I forgot to rename them. Can anyone email and let me know how I can exchange the extension to read mp3? I hope they post the MP3's on a different site.
PEACE!!!

The big question is how did Xoom know that the MP3's were there?

I'd hazard a guess that someone who didn't want the songs on the web, tipped them off.

Now WHO would do a thing like that?

Someone with a big nose, who knows

I NEARLY HAVE IT SORTED, IM GOING TO USE GEOCITIES
BUT THEY ONLY ALLOW A MAX OF ABOUT 4 MP3'S,
SO I'LL HAVE TO USE SEVERAL ACCOUNTS.
I'LL POST THE ADDRESS ASAP, BUT I CAN'T PROMIS IT'LL STAY UP VERY LONG.
I THINK WHAT HAPPENED WITH XOOM WAS THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE TRIED TO DOWNLOAD AT THE ONE TIME, AND WELL.....YOU KNOW WHAT THEY DID.

ANYWAY FINGERS CROSSED

Question: How did xoom know to take them down?

A) all the traffic on their network of large files let them know something was up.
B) the files were named .3pm which doesn't take a genius to figure out.

Some people have mailed me.
Basically, the best thing to do is this,
if you are a win95/98/NT user go to www.napster.com and download the software.
That is what I have told them to do. This
is all very easy if its a group effort.
Once you use Napster you will understand
what I mean.

Once you have that, people will be able to
swap mp3's very easily.

My sign:
Basically my sign had a characture of Moz with a frown on his face. Actually, it was something I created after he cancelled a show on me that I had front row seats for. It's the only thing I know how to draw. That's what I get for being good with numbers, I suppose. A handful of people saw it before the show and said good things about it.

I WORK IN A LARGE SOFTWARE COMPANY WHICH WON'T ALLOW ME TO GET THROUGH THE FIREWALL WITH VIRTUALY ALL FTP BASED PROGRAMS.(THE ONLY ONE WHICH SEEMS TO LET ME IS "WS_FTP PRO")
SO THIS SEEMS TO BE MY ONLY OPTION FOR NOW.
