* Rumor -- tour will be shorter than expected, maybe around 15 dates. Boston might be off. And Florida.

Ya know, I guess I am lucky because I could go to Boise or somewhere near, but the East Coast really needs to see Morrissey! Why does he do this to us?

I don't have the percise number of how many people Hamilton place holds, my guess would be about 1000 tops I've only been there a few times
I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT MORRISSEY IS COMING TO MY HOME TOWN

Hamilton Place does have a capacity of around 1000 people - it seems like a pretty small venue for a Toronto area concert. I've never seen a concert there although I did have my University convocation there - third row seats! I'll ask my parents what the view from the upper balcony was like.

And there was much rejoicing.
I've been listening to Morrissey for 15 years,
I saw him for the 1st time in Montreal in 1997.
Now he is to play mere blocks away from my apartment in Hamilton.
A very big thankyou to whoever selected Hamilton
as a tour stop.

Everytime I get ready to see this man, I think it might be my last. Hamilton is a small town compared to Moz Angles{love that one ha!}but we will be dear to him. Probably the same 97 To. crowd. Welcome all you Americans to the land where your dollar goes. Chow... by the way I'll be in Steel City (hamilton) wearing a moz shirt, see ya there eh?

I believe Hamilton Place is much more than 1000. I've only seen a few shows there but I remember it being a VERY good place for a show. Great sound and it's hard to get bad seats. I picked First Balcony. I never actually expected Morrissey to play here, but was hoping. Oddly enough, the promotional organization which arranged the show also brought the Backsteet Boys to the local Coliseum. I DIDN'T go to that, but I thought it was funny when I read it.

Cheers.

Accually, alex i didn't get scalpers tickets this
time...i lucked out!! it's funny cause back in the day we'd camp out all night for average seats
and this time we showed up at 8 am and were first in line...and had great seats pulled. Just lucky!

That is actually how I got tickets my 2nd row in Hamilton tickets as well. I just went to a ticketbastard location and they opened just before 10am. I just went early that's all (8:30am).

Morrissey! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Florida loves you! At least I do, and my love's enough to cover Florida. Pretty please come. *Ahem* Orlando, if you can. Or Kissimmee...it's right down the street. ;)
Or go anywhere in TX, I've got friends there!

I also can't believe Morrissey is coming to my home town. Thank-you to Morrissey and the people at HECFI for setting this up. For those who haven't been, Hamilton Place has outstanding acoustics:) - dave

Great job James and Stylefile geting 2nd row. I had Ticketmaster on speed-dial and the website ready to go, and couldn't manage any better than 8th.

Hamilton Place DOES have awesome acoustics - I believe it was originally built exclusively for orchestra. I hope that everyone avoids the temptation to push towards the stage right away and actually LISTENS to the concert.
