From William:

Sheffield University Students' Union holds a (fairly) regular indie night, labeled 'Offbeat.' March 17th sees the first ever Smiths/Morrissey theme night. The event will stick to the traditional pattern, Smiths/Moz records for four hours of musical heaven!

Takes place in the Raynor Lounge between 9pm and 1am, 17/03/00. Tickets priced £2.50, available from the Union Box Office.

What does "indie" signify? Please clarify as I've heard the term used many times but am ignorant to its meaning.

Thanks!

By the way, anyone interested in a DC metro area Smiths/Morrissey theme night?

Will Morrocans be allowed in to the venue and if so will we be allowed to wear full traditional regalia ?
