From Jody Cone:

Thought a few of you might find this interesting. Morrissey gets a reference in the new Nerf Herder album.. on track "For You" they say..."I'd be depressed like Morrissey". The new Nerf Herder album will be in stores on March 7.

Yes of course morrissey is the only depressed person on this planet, didn't you hear? He must spend hoards of cash keeping the multi million dollar self-help book industry flowing.

Right on - and don't forget - all his fans are lonely and sexually repressed too!

repressed but remarkably dressed

Gee, I loved that line...

...when Pansy Division wrote it more than FIVE YEARS AGO.

As I mentioned in a previous post, Morrissey is officially retiring at the end of his current tour, and I'm afraid all we'll have to hang onto are trite, lame references in other groups music like Jody has so graciously shared with us. There will be no new material, no new videos, no rare tracks that someone discovered.

Yeah, on the new Eric Benet album, Morrissey is referenced 258 times. Isn't that great? I think Eric is by far better than Morrissey though, and according to Captain's log, it looks like maybe Eric will take over since Morrissey won't be around anymore. I guess then maybe this site would be converted to an Eric Benet site? Did anyone go to the Eric Benet night in Boston last weekend?

Does anyone have a copy of that story that ran about Morrissey's official retirement after the tour? I'm trying to get information on that and I am also trying to find out if Eric Benet will be the chosen one to succeed him as the symbol he was. I have some wonderful photos of him and his new fiancee that would be great after the transition is made from morrissey-solo.com to morrissey-benet-duo.com, or whatever the name for the new site will be. I heard Eric's fiancee, Halle Berry, was involved in a hit-and-run accident and Eric was right there by her side to comfort her through that horrific experience. Isn't that great? It just goes to show that Eric Benet is the perfect icon to suceed Moz. Especially since he is a bonafied Moz fan. When is the Web site expected to change over?

Waaaasssssssuppp Moz fans worldwide and internationally!!! We hate it when our friends become successful and when they're northern that makes it even worse, but that doesn't there's no room for ERIC BENET to blow up and be in the company of our boy Moz, who is a legend in his own right. Moz and Benet should team up to do a duet, like a remake or something. I think such an album could sell millions if it is done as a POP album. That's exactly what Moz needs to revitalize his career and add some sheen and gloss to it! He needs to cash in on some of this POP stuff like Ricky Martin is and I think ERIC BENET is just the man to help him do it. Wouldn't that be delightful?

I think you're right Arvelle! A duet between Eric Benet and Moz could bring in a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ as in the Cash Money song entitled "Bling, Bling" or should I mimick the sound of a cash register and say "Cha Ching!" or "It's About the Benjamins" like Puffy says or "Show Me the Money" like in the football movie or "Romance without finance is a damn nuisance" as Rudy Ray Moore said in his hit movie, "Return of the Avenging Disco Godfather!!" or "Make money money, Make money money monaaaayy!" as Run DMC used to say at their live shows. What would ya'll think of a duet between the two GREATS BENET and MOZ cuz I think that's just what Moz needs, to break into a broader audience, and then Benet could break into the older crowd that Moz attracts! There are so many similarities between the two artists that it would be a crime for them not to team up and then they could make more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in like 2020 with some kind of a reunion tour with groups like Portishead and Semisonic, who by then would be the equivalent to groups like Cheap Trick and Three Dog Night, which are easily selling tickets at $10 a pop and taking all that home in CASH money and let's not even talk about the money those old groups are making on the Vegas circuit! What would ya'll think of a Moz/Benet tour kicked off in Vegas with Wayne Newton or somebody like that as the opener?! That'd be cool, wouldn't it? $$$$$....$$$$$$$$$.....$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!
