Sorry to say but OASIS is more than likely going to win. Look at the odds. They've got a number one album, a number one single and a grand world tour all at the same time. 'Where did it all go wrong?'-NOEL GALLAGHER

When has any stupid poll or topten list meant anything? They just show what the masses like, and that is usually CRAP. ACtually Moz rules way more by not making it into the charts.... I rather see him in the coziness of a 5 thou gig than in a packed stadium, plus its not like hes gonna go broke due to lack of sales. Come to think of it, the less records he sells the more gigs he might need to make to get money, and thats better for us aint it?

I agree, none of those awards mean anything. The Grammy's, Billboard, all that crap is meaningless. If idiots like Celine Dione and others can win them, any bum on the street with half a voice could too.

Actually, Billboard and all the others are ranked by what is purchased in stores and played on the radio. So it is only what the listeners buy and what they want to hear, not what the media likes. It has nothing to do with it. The media doesn't like everything out there anyway. They make fun of the Backstreet Boys and at how Alanis's first album sold so many copies but no one will admit to buying it. And Celine Dion got overplayed, 2000 a week in all of the world. Don't let me get into the Spice Girls. Remember? They ate them alive. So, okay it might not matter what Billboard and the charts say, BUT they only say what audiences say they want buy the purchase and on-air airtime.

I am sure Moz would be sickened to know that he is competing against Robert Smith. We all know how he loathes Smith.

Don't you think it's sad that someone of Morrissey's calibre has been put up agains Oasis? I have nothing against Oasis, I'm seeing them in April (mostly for Travis), but really, this proves that Q101 is the most worthless and idiotic excuse for a station. Obviously, no one there knows anything about the british music scene.

Morrissey is revered as a lyricist and songwriter and yet they have him up against a second-rate smiths imitation whose main redeeming quality is the guitar playing. Liam's voice cannot be compared to Moz's and Noel's lyrics are absolutely mindless. The only thing these two acts have in common is that they are from Manchester!
That's like if you put the Smashing Pumpkins up against the band Chicago. I'm so irritated by this.
