...this will pssibly be slightly rude but, what is the Mexican fetish with MOZ? The foisting of the flag on stage, the annoying pride thrusts...it's almost sad that these people don't realize he is of a very Anglo style that, sad to say, can't be repeated be hispanics with trying rock-a-billy side-burns and Yank-aesthetics. It is an tatty emmulation of an emmulation. To see this incites only, to the unforiegn eye, a bit of a giggle. This will be seen as racist before honest though i suspect.

Dear Harsh Truth:
Cada quién puede opinar sobre lo que le venga en gana. Muy respetable.
Para los que nos identificamos con las letras de Smiths y/o Morrissey no nos importa si es de Inglaterra, Angola o Chipre. Cuando dice: "Last night I dreamt that somebody loved me" o "Why do you come here?" sólo por mencionar algunas, está hablando de sentimientos universales y no exclusivos de los ingleses. Es como decir que a los mexicanos no nos puede gustar cómo escribe Paul Auster o Julian Barnes sólo porque no son mexicanos. El lugar donde se desarrolle la acción, mi querido Harsh, es irrelevante, lo que verdaderamente importa es la acción misma.
Todos los que escuchamos a Moz hemos tenido decepciones amorosas o sufrido en algún momento de nuestra vida de soledad o tristeza, si no ¿por qué otra razón nos gustan tanto sus letras? Podrás ser gay, heterosexual, bisexual, hombre, mujer, mexicano, inglés, francés, chino o ruso. Lo único que en verdad importa es la música, y ésta, creo yo, es universal.
Si no, ¿por qué Morrissey decide venir a Centro y Sudamérica?
Otra cosa: Si Morrissey tiene algún fetiche con lo mexicano, pues sinceramente es cosa suya y sólo él te va a poder responder. Por mi parte, me alegro que él personalmente se interese por nuestra cultura, a fin de cuentas él es el qe importa y la razón de esta página, no tú.
Por último: Saludos a todos mis compatriotas mexicanos que disfrutan de la música de Moz, de donde quiera que sean.PD.- Si no entiendes el mensaje, I'm so sorry, pero en verdad me da güeva traducirlo y no es mi trabajo. Si sí lo entendiste, congratulations! Que bueno que seas bilingüe.

estoy de acuerdo totalmente contigo, y qué triste que tipos como estos nos quiten tiempo para contestarles sus patéticos, obtusos y cerrados comentarios.
no se dan cuenta que los ignorantes son ellos? pobres, creen que porque las letras de morrissey son en inglés no las entendemos o qué se yo.
triste realmente, lo siento por ellos y porque hablan con la seguridad que solo su ignorancia les da.
podría también haber escrito este mensaje en inglés, italiano o francés pero me da una hiperhueva. mejor lo dejo para mis paisanos y aquellos todos que entienden el español.
por cierto, spike trae una calcomanía de méxico en su batería y a pesar de que estuve un ratotototote con él en un bar después del concierto nunca recordé preguntarle si fue su idea o la de steven.
