Wow - who'd have thought Morrissey's support acts get more coverage than him on this tour?

MTV actually allowed the mention of Morissey's name! I was good to hear someone actually speak so well of Morrissey, and to say such nice things about the fans at the show. We did get a glimpse of the Moz too.

Damn, I would like to think that AT LEAST they could show footage from his CURRENT tour. They showed stuff from the 1991 Kill Uncle tour. And Black Bettle did not really seem to like talking about him either. Although the Lead Singing Violinst looked like she was going to pee in her pantalones when speaking of how HIS fans were like a sea and they had "many flowers for Morrissey."

Morrissey was in top form-last time I saw him was with the Smiths in the 80's. Black beetle was quite a boring band when you are waitng for Morrissey. She kept getting shocked by her guitar, it was funny. She made a snide comment about Morrissey like-"I know you guys can't wait to see Morrissey-Woo Hoo"

I saw it and it was just a 3-5 second shot of the "Live in Dallas" video. That's the only coverage MTV will give Morrissey, unless something (God forbid) happens to him. They're more interested in R&B and N-sick...let's face it, "alternative" is dead. Morrissey, DM, The Cure, etc. will never be "huge" in America, atleast, not like they used to be. I remember the good ol' days.............

F**K MTV !!!

I totally agree with Esteban. MTV sucks and I´m shocked that some Morrissey fans actually watch it. MTV is killing todays music.
