I live in Ohio and I'm flying to California and adding to my debt ratio to see him in San Francisco. Since it appears that Morrissey isn't interested in the US east coast of late, I don't really have much choice if I want to see him live. I'm just glad to be able to go, though.

I too am flying out to see him in December in Ventura California on the 18th. I live in Texas. It's pretty much guaranteed that unless Morrissey decides to do another proper "full tour" like the Your Arsenal tour, I will have to travel to see him. I was surprised he did not come to Texas for Maladjusted. I live in Houston, and I was fully expecting him to at least play Dallas for Maladjusted, but he did not. Like most major cities, he has a huge fanbase here. I'm just fortunate that I have friends to go with and stay with in California! See you in Ventura!!

I'd go anywhere Morrissey played with the proper means. Luckily I don't have to go far this december since he'll be close to home. Looking forward to the S.F, San Diego, L.A., Ventura, and Vegas shows. Can't wait! And if he tours the East Coast next year, I'll be there too.

If I had the money I would see MOZ N E where, but since I don't, I will see him as many times as my money can take me. So far my money took me to see him 4 times, and one more on the 15th (palladium).

I've posted this same comment at least a dozen times, and I'm sorry that I've made you all a part of my healing process, but this is driving me mad.... I think this tour is terribly unfair....So many fans are being neglected.....I have absolutely *no* money, and made the trip to Las Vegas in October anyhow....I had to take another miserable job to pay off the credit card bills and I just can't afford to do it again.....
What do we get for our trouble and pain?

I wouldn't spend more than a dime to see morrissey. I've seen him plenty of times, and frankly, I've grown out of those adolescent times.
I'd much rather see Radiohead, than deal with morrissey's egotitic shight. Radiohead is much better.

I have flown to 2 coasts and (nearly) saw 3 shows.

I gave myself worry lines just trying to pull off the '97 show.

This year, Vegas didn't happen and I was too tired to enjoy Coachella to it's fullest.

Unless I'm abducted by aliens who happen to let me off at the right place, I think I already get the point of what happens at a Morrissey show and opt to stay home.

I've alreadyy seen him23 times on the Kill Uncle and Your Arse tours, so I probably would'nt go to far. I am going to go camp out to see him play this month though. I have not seen him play for years and I always said if he's plays a small club gig I would have to go. I had floor tix for the sold out show at the Grand Olympic Auditorium he was supposed to play for "Vauxhaul & I" but of course...he canceled. Was anybody else pissed off bout that? Oh well, I am excited to see him but my days of endless camping out at the Sunset Marquie and Ben Franks, and following tour busses are over. One time we followed the bus after an LA show to Arizona, and when we got there, The Counting Crows got off! Wrong bus. Talk about nausea.

L.A. is the only place I wouldn't go to see him. Los Angeles is hellish. It has to be one of the most aesthetically unappealing cities in California (possibly the world). And the people...the people alone are enough to make you cut a wide path around it's decaying edges. Do you actually think Morrissey will stay long? The novelty of the vomit colored sky and plastic people will wear thin. "...come, Armageddon, come..."

Vaguely Interested....I'm guessing that you live in some really sad city with a population of 300 people. Aparently Morrissey is very happy here in Los Angeles considering he has been here for 2 years and has purchased an expensive home. I realize that you're jealous, who wouldn't be...but you don't have to go to the childish extremes of trashing us. I'm sure you're time would be more useful in a classroom getting an education.

When tkts went on sale for Coachella I was there, despite the $50 price and 150 mile drive. A week before that at happy hour, I got a wild hare up the ass and decided to fly from San Diego to Vegas. $186 bucks for me and the old lady. I nearly @#!!! myself when they said it was cancelled. I kept waiting for someone to say just kidding. They didnt though. Good thing the sound at Coachella recovered after "Youre Gonna Need.." and the show turned out excellent. Now, like the sucker that I am, will be driving to Vegas from San Diego , in hopes of seeing Morrissey a small venue. What is wrong with me?

I'd go to see Morrissey if he played somewhere close to where I am in Canada, since he would never play in my city or province (he's probably never even heard of it). But I can't afford to. I can't afford to travel, period. This poll was horrible, because it gave people a chance to brag about where they've seen Moz, or how many times they've seen him or whatever...and this makes me physically ill. I don't know who came up with the idea that how many times you've seen the man reflects how much you admire/adore/love him. I may never ever see him in my life time. Does this make me any less of a fan? Of course not. You can still be a fan of someone without going to the outer reaches of the earth to see him!!!

I have better things to spend what little money I have on...LIKE A LIFE!!!!!! I suggest those of you who are bragging get one.

Going by Morrissey's history of suddenly cancelling shows for "sickness" and unknown reasons, it would be very difficult to choose to possibly waste the money to travel extremely far. I suppose it's just a gamble like most things, you either lose big time if you have travelled far, or you kind of win by at least being in the same room with him, getting to hear him and breathe the same air as he. I'd have to set a limit on "in my region", as the risks of losing too much money and time and wasted effort are just too great.

i hate to see questions that bring the content here down to the level of an n'sync fanzine, but being forced to answer i'd go see him here in atlanta if he'd bloody well come here, or any where within a few hours of here. i unfortunately need to buy things like food and pay rent, so spending limitless amounts of money to follow him around is simply not feasible. if that makes me less of a fan i guess i'd better forget all the lyrics and throw out my smiths/moz collection. shame, it's nearly complete.

SI MORRISSEY SE DIGNARA A VENIR A ESPAÑA, ENTONCES MUCHA GENTE QUE NO VE TELEVISIÓN, NO ESCUCHA LA RADIO, ENCONTRARÍA UN MOMENTO DE "DIVERSIÓN", AL PARECER SIEMPRE HAY PROBLEMAS PARA QUE ESO SUCEDA. NO SÉ QUÉ PENSAR. QUIZÁ ALGUIEN TENGA LA SOLUCIÓN A ESTA CUESTIÓN, QUIZÁ EL MISMO MORRISSEY LO SEPA. SI ES ASÍ, NO ESTARÍA DE MÁS QUE EN ALGÚN MOMENTO DIJERA PORQUÉ DA CONCIERTOS EN LUGARES UN TANTO REMOTOS Y NO EN UN LUGAR DONDE GOZA DE UNA MERECIDA FAMA, CUYOS "APÓSTOLES" SE SIENTEN IGNORADOS.

I recently answered this pole as i would travel anywhere in my region to see Morrissey, but yesterday i got a rather nice suprise. After school my mom picked me up and she handed me an article about Morrissey's tour that she had found off the net. I thought that was nice of her but I knew that something was up. She asked me if I wanted an early birthday present. I was said sure! She then proceded to tell me that she was going to fly with me to Las Vegas (i'm a mere 16 years old!) and we would see Morrissey. I was fortunate enough to see Morrissey four times on the UK leg of the "Oye Esteban" tour; three nights at the London Forum, and the last night at Aylesbury Civic Centre. Previously I'd seen him at Brixton, Drury Lane and Wembley in 1995, and at Battersea in 1997.

You can try and revive the memories of these great nights with bootlegs, photos etc, but you never re-capture the moment. I really hope that Morrissey decides to tour the next album, and that I get the opportunity to see him in the States - I would love to be out there now but at the moment I have neither the passport, nor the money or holiday entitlement to take me there!

Ohhhh (Yawn). If I went to (yawn) go to the fridge to get another cold one (yawn), and if Morrissey was in my basement when I came back (yawn) I'd probably listen to them perform. No big deal (yawn). I wouldn't spend my entire retirement on following him like a lot of y'all lil' fellas. (Yawn) Good night. Mmmmmm...I think a nightcap sounds good right about now...smack smack smack smack smack smack (yawn)...

My boyfriend and I flew to out to see the Las Vegas show (the cancelled one) from Virginia. We spent a large amount of money to see him and were quite peeved about not seeing a show. But I believe that if we were to have seen him perform I would say I would go anywhere to see him (provided I had the the money). However, since we did not get to see the show I will only hope for east coast dates and stay "within my region".

*I wear black on outside
because black is how I feel on the inside*
i can´t afford to go so far, but if i had money, I would gladely do it for Moz.
I wish i could have seen him with the Smiths, back then.

I've seen Morrissey every single time he has been to Denmark(3). And i had tickets to every show that has been scedueled here (6).

I got on stage once and hugged him hard, a real sneak up from behind affair, since the security was exstremely rough! I had to wait for the lights to go off, before making a blind jump from the first row fence to the stage. Im sure Morrissey also prefered this, our first hug to take place in darkness.

And then i whispered something he wont forget too soon !!!

Stay Handsome !!!

I'm a wounded bird...the last time I saw Morrissey was in British Columbia Canada....you know, the show that was about 20 mins. long before Moz had a hissy fit and walked offstage halfway though a song?
Even die-hard fans were booing his tourbus as it pulled out
I will only see a show again if it comes right to my town. Sorry.

To see Morrissey,I would sell myself to my telemarketing job,and work 24 hourshifts for eternity.
That's right, i would sell vacuum cleaners to the senile and the anal forever if I could just see Morrissey sing live for 90 mins; that would be all I need to survive.

Number one, I'm Sheila Take a Bow, and I don't appreciate someone else using the name...number two, I wouldn't sell my soul to see Morrissey, not through 'work' in the least. Although, I am willing to go greatly in debt and to have the IRS and every other collection agency come after me to do so. I will see all of you in Vegas!

The farthest I drove to see Moz was about 400 miles to New York City. I would do it again if he plays the east coast.

One question 'where do you get all your money from?'

The tickets in England cost £17.00 each (I think that's about $30.00) and the venue he played (Leeds) was tiny and wasn't all that spectacular.

Most bands charge around £12.00 in Leeds Town and Country...
....Ah well, I suppose it's nice for Morrissey to see that he is skanking our arses off even now he's buggered off to LA.

I would pay any amount to see him again, but I am aghast to where you get all the time and money to go and see him, even though most of the gigs were pretty much the same..(And don't tell me they weren't, I have proof...)

Although Morrissey's new 'skinhead' imagery is supposed to represent the working class, it certainly doesn't follow through with his ticket prices!

MY WIFE AND I SAW MORRISSEY IN VEGAS(DEC 19)
AND I HAVE TO SAY HE PUT ON A GREAT SHOW.
I,MYSELF AM A BIG CURE FAN, BUT MY WIFE IS DIE-HARD MORRISSEY FAN.IF HE SHOULD PLAY AGAIN,I CAN DEFINITELY SAY WE WILL BE THERE. P.S.,THE SHOW COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF A STUPID FAN WOULDN'T HAVE GOTTEN ON STAGE AND AND SCREWED UP EVERYTHING. WE ALL LIKE A GOOD CONCERT,AND IF YOUR A BIG FAN,THEN LISTEN,SCREAM AND ENJOY THE SHOW. DON'T CUT IT SHORT BY JUMPING UP ON STAGE
JUST TO TOUCH HIM,BECAUSE HE'LL LEAVE AND THEN WE ALL MISS OUT ON A GREAT CONCERT.

first i took a bus from my city to mexico city (8 hours), then a 4.5 hours flight to san diego and then a train to LA, but FINALLY i saw MOZ in concert (twice!!).
i don't care the money i spent nor even the TIME i spent, i'do it again and again and again.
i bought 3 t-shirts ($20 a piece) but the best part is the 'west ham boys club' piece of collar t-shirt i got in the san diego concert, i framed it.
and oh, LA is full of mexicans, that's cool.
