What if this was an album

Original album: Staircase, Bullfighter and Mountjoy. From the bonus CD: everything apart from Art-Hounds and Scandinavia.

What if this was an album

Once again, these are rhymes for the sake of rhyming, and there are certainly some of his own observations of this exotic city interwoven into them. It already didn't appeal to me as a preview track in 2024. Even though he played it live all the time in 2014/2015: time for the third beer.

What if this was an album

Nein. Sorry. I don't like it, when he tries to explore exotic places and describes his experiences. He never did this then (88-97) but since he is a journeyman, it's not what I expect from him. Goes with the extreme Latin sounds theme he offers us on WPINOYB. No.

What if this was an album

Hard to live with any album that contains "Istanbul" even if most of the rest is most enjoyable.

PETA UK (via Gloucestershire Live): "Morrissey writes to TUI demanding they stop selling trips to parks" (May 1, 2024)

He is right about animal welfare. Always. But that doesn't change the fact that he has maneuvered himself more and more offside since around 2010/2011. I don't know whether he felt too safe and thought he could say anything or whether he wanted more attention, which eventually waned? He won't...

Big Issue / Robin Ince: "You can grow up to be Morrissey or you can grow up to be Johnny Marr – which are you?" (April 30, 2024)

As a non native speaker, it might have been as well "I am the sun and the hair".

Fiona Dodwell: "Morrissey Was Rejecting Toxic Masculinity 30 Years Before It Was Fashionable" (April 27, 2024)

On X, 114 people liked Sci-Fi's "superb article". 8 offered compliments and 1 person was harsh. Which is just about the aveage rection of a new Moz album.

The Loop by Morrissey (taken from "Beethoven was Deaf") - Unofficial video

Nice but why didn't you use video material from the 2006 "Tour of Tormentors"?

    Morrissey Central "Beethoven U.S.A." (April 25, 2024)

Didn't he point out with irritation in the autobiography, that Alain also wanted to appear on the covers of his albums, not without adding where Alain had once originally worked (council job)? Trivia: the cover of “We hate it...” with Alain and Gary is the best solo vinyl album cover ever (at...

    Morrissey Central "Beethoven U.S.A." (April 25, 2024)

But this would mean, that he has to understand, that some members of the solo family are more important than others or may even reach his popularity.

    Morrissey Central "Beethoven U.S.A." (April 25, 2024)

No bulbous salutation for prudish U.S.A.

    What about Alain whyte?

Very good comments. "I'd love to" always sounded like an anticipation of Vauxhall and the B-side sessions in early 94 were no different in sound and style from Vauxhall. Still, different bassists, drummers and producers. Why would Morrissey sack Day and Cobrin after the tour marathon of 1991/92...
