Also, that McCartney session he talks about, does anyone know if tapes exist? I'm not a big McCartney fan but I think that would sound mega.
I just noticed the singer from Deerhoof mention The Smiths as a formative influence in this Time Out Tokyo interview. Doesn't strike me as an obvious match, but can you imagine Deerhoof backing Mozz on his next album? Then we'd be back in the business of making interesting music.
