    Your latest Morrissey/Smiths buy

I had noticed difference in colours before but had never compared to another Australian one. Mine has white text as well. Also the text on the back of the sleeve is aligned as if Morrissey appears at the top of the front sleeve. This seems to affect the "leaf" pattern used as a graphic on the...

I think they (Morrissey & Marr) were happy as long as the first issues to hit the shops had the push-out centres and after that it probably didn't matter. Hard to believe that they could have gone through all the releases (bar Bigmouth) letting it happen all the time if it was that big a deal...

I'll give my thoughts on it. The previous release, The Boy With The Thorn In His Side was released in Sep 85. From the release of HIG to that point (around two and a half years) there had been 9 singles and 3 lp's. With extra songs on 12" singles etc. that was a huge output. The earlier singles...

Here are the pictures of the bottom of the sleeve and label for Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now. Apart from the text at the bottom it is just the same as UK, same catalogue number same text. The only difference is the sleeve, which is neither paper or card, a sort of mix of the two - glossy like...

Not sure which ones were on ebay. Here are two I have. They are nice items. The Sheila one has a nice glossy sleeve, the text on the back of the sleeve is identical to the UK one. The William sleeve has a unique textured look and feel, but the text I think is also identical. The catalogue...

Sorry for delay in response, I had packed them away again after getting 5 mins to photograph them. The "strange WDDIM", the Sheila one and the Sandie Shaw ones have the anti slip serrations

The Miserable Nows are two RT push-outs (one came with a one-page Appearing press release), the Rhino reissue and a Dutch 7". Large hole in centre and some credits on the end for Ariola, Made In Holland. The PJLM collectors appendix would indicate it is the first of 3 variations. I'll scan a...
