Lou Reed is dead at 71

Here's a very nice musical tribute from last night in Mountain View, CA. There may be no words, but there is music:

Did you see Morrissey 25 at the cinema?

I recorded the "Morrissey 25: Live" audio in the cinema. It sounds pretty good, like a good audience recording. Of course, once the official DVD is released, this can be replaced: Lossless version: http://kickass.to/morrissey-2013-03-02-hollywood-high-school-cinema-audio-capture-t7840886.html...

Did you see Morrissey 25 at the cinema?

You sure? "To Give" is not on my recording (yes, I did!). "Please Please" is there, however, 13th song. Am I living in some sort of parallel universe? I'm frightened...

Did you see Morrissey 25 at the cinema?

I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet, but the DVD setlist differs from the original setlist. "To Give" has been dropped and "Action" moved up. Copyright issues? Did you see Morrissey 25 at the cinema?

I'm psyched for this Wednesday in White Plains. Interesting to note that it's also "Senior Wednesday", but unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I'm not eligible for the discount:

Did you see Morrissey 25 at the cinema?

You should also consider listening to internet radio and/or satellite radio (i.e., Sirius/XM). The former is free and will give you an infinite number of options. Most indie/college radio stations stream from their websites. iTunes has a Radio section which has some decent choices. I highly...

Tickets on sale now for Morrissey 25: Live from Hollywood High - press release from Gorgeous PR

For those in the NYC suburbs, the City Center 15 in White Plains is a good choice for a concert movie. I saw the fan documentary "Springsteen and I" there and it was an excellent venue. Big screen and loud high quality audio.

"Everyday Is Like Sunday" from "Morrissey 25: Live" video - NME.com

Here's the same song from Port Chester. I thought it was a fantastic show. Video goes bad from 0:10 to 0:35, then improves:

"Everyday Is Like Sunday" from "Morrissey 25: Live" video - NME.com

Can someone explain the significance (if any) of the book/magazine that was given to him by an audience member at the end of the song?

Morrissey at Amoeba Records (Los Angeles, July 21 2013) - daays / Instagram

No, just surprised that he doesn't go out in public with any females, be they friends or whatever.

Morrissey at Amoeba Records (Los Angeles, July 21 2013) - daays / Instagram

Probably a dumb question here, but is Morrissey ever seen in public with a woman? In all these candid street pics, he's surrounded by men. At a Hollywood party, he's with Russell Brand. Just wonderin'.

He can't stop and sign some autographs? What's the big hurry?
