Collecting "Sweet And Tender Hooligan"

This single is so boring. Nothing new neither the cover pic - the same "model" from World of Morrissey.

I thinks it's a sweet little thing.
I was certainly cock-a-hoop when I found it in my local HMV during a bored browse back in the summer of '95. In those ancient days pre-internet I had no notion of it's very existence.
The cover is a far more pleasing deployment of Cornelius Carr than on 'World Of...', and to have 'I Keep Mine Hidden', 'Work Is A Four Letter Word' and 'What's The World' {Live at the Barrowland} all on one CD is a minor joy.
It's only fairly recently that I learned that it was released on 12 inch vinyl and I'm now perpetually on the look-out for a reasonably priced copy.

Sweet And Tender Hooligan was a revelation to many upon it's release. Most people had not heard the b-sides, particularly in America, where the single was released. I had the Japanese "Stop Me" cd ep and "I Started Something" cassette when it was released so it wasn't particularly exciting to me.
