How do you take a 60 minute continuous track and separate it into, say, 10 tracks? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Open it in sound forge, highlight the selected portion you want (say, the first song), hit "cut" and then go "file-new". Then just paste into the new window.

Make sure you duplicate the original long file, just in case you bugger things up. That's all I can say, unless you have more specific questions. it's real easy though, I used to do it all the time when I was transferring live stuff from tape to CD.

Just ask if you have any more probs, and good luck

If you just want to seperate the WAV file to make tracks for burning to CD, I'd use a programme like CDWave which splits the file for you and generates a CUE file for use with your chosen CD burning software.
