Morrissey and his friends, what do you think?

I was wondering about how Morrissey is handling the issue "friends" in his life. I heard several times he is surrounded by a lot of woman. But that's not the point. I was just asking myself isn't Morrissey asking himself constantly if those people love him or just his fame, and doesn't it kill him that he will never have an answer?
Of course that's quite the opposite, but I've noticed people turn away from me because I was getting succesful (of course not any comparable to Moz). But the point is that not even in real life people are honestly faithful to you, not as long as your not the same level.

Most of Morrissey's friends are MORE famous than him, so I can't see that it would be an issue.
