Whatever happened to Alain Whyte?

When you can't speak of something with certainty you must speculate!

1. Alain ran away and joined a circus. He's now "The infamous Mr. W" and does a great juggling act in a small town off the northern coast of Tibet.

2. Alain has returned to the mothership and has set out on the quest of rocking n rolling another universe (just around the bend) very soon.

3. He lost his passport and is currently being held by the US Army in Guantanamo.

Any other suggestions?

He's been flung out of the Band.

He asked Morrissey for half of the money from publishing & royalties of the Morrissey/Whyte compositions, as befitted his status as co-songwriter.
For his impertinence, he was unceremoniously dumped out of the Band & I seriously doubt whether Moz will ever speak to him again.
Or allow his name to be mentioned within his earshot.

He was arrested for trying to make his name more exciting by changing the spelling from "Alan White" to Alain Whyte!!

But don't quote me.....

To the best of my knowledge, non of that is true as I just made it up.
