Why Morrissey's music will always live on

Morrissey's music is timeless. 20-something years on, you can pop in any album and still enjoy just about every single song. I think the reason is his music is very complex. Kind of like Bohemian Rhapsody.

With some obvious exceptions, Mozzer has released very few catchy little ditties. You have to give each album a number of spins before it starts to grow on you.

That's a good thing. Think of a super catchy song, and three months later you hate it and throw away the CD. Music that is good, nay excellent, but takes some listening to, lasts forever.

I wasn't overly awed by ROTT the first time I heard it, but now I'm loving it. I'm so glad the man who put the "M" in Manchester is back. :o

So true. When ROTT was released I absolutely detested "I'll Never Be Anybody's Hero Now", however after many listens, it's now one of my favourite tracks on the album. :)
